We are saddened to hear that you are not satisfied with our theme. The skin.css file is loaded the latest in the queue, so style file of your child theme cannot overwrite its rules without using !important. It is normal behavior. Besides, the Fonts & Color section allows you to edit main theme colors, a set of items are edited with one color field change.
