homepage layout builder is easy to use and very customizable.

Just started using this on a new project I am working on. I really like how it looks. I was also able to easily customize it through a child theme to make it fit around my website. Great theme! Thanks.

I have used several of Slocum’s themes in the last few years so I am familiar with the structure used as the base for their theme portfolio. Baton continues the use of a similar structure so I am able to efficiently set up my projects.

The extra built-in Baton specific styling options are just enough to give a head start to my process without creating an overwhelming situation.

A template for landing pages (with separate header and footer too) is included to make quick set up for special display situations.

If you activate Note plugin (free) you can add a variety of mix-and-match modules in and around your page and post content.

I used this theme on a site previously and loved the ease of setting up the custom homepage without having to mess with the code. The team behind this one knows what they are doing and I would highly recommend giving it a run if you are looking to get more control over your site or blog.
