Hi, my name is Melanie Karlik. I am a web designer and developer with over 10 years of experience making custom WordPress themes for clients. I also blog about WordPress for women entrepreneurs at my website APrettierWeb.com. Boss Lady is a theme I made especially for online women entrepreneurs.

Firstly, entrepreneurs are a creative bunch. I know you want to be able to have complete flexibility and control over the look and feel of your site. I know you want to change colours, change fonts, change layouts, change header images… That’s why I’ve given you LOTS of options using the WordPress customizer.

Secondly, entrepreneurs are savvy online. I know you need to grow your mailing list, capture leads and ultimately sell your product or service. I also know that you don’t want to spend hours finding a plugin for a simple landing page or pay a 3rd party to do it for you (you shouldn’t have to do that). That’s why I have included templates for landing pages (8 options to choose from). I also know you will want to create promotions and drive traffic to a lead page to capture email and signups. That’s why I also have a lead page template (with the option to upload your own background image).

I know all of this because I want this. That’s why I created this WordPress theme AND it’s the theme I’m using right now!
