    Enlightenment is a versatile, powerful, nice-looking theme with some cool features.

    It does take some time/effort to get a fresh install to look as nice as the demo, but I think the effort is worth it.

    I chose this theme not because it is free but because it appears to be only one of two that I found I could customize without having to know code. But I’ve already run into a problem — the images in the header carousel are badly cropped and there is an ugly grey background I cannot seem to get rid of — and when I checked the documentation for suggestions as to best image size for the various components illustrated, I could not find any.

    Then I checked the company’s support forum (https://www.onedesigns.com/support), but it’s obvious that no one is answering anyone’s questions.

    So then I came here, and it’s pretty much dead here too.

    I’d rather pay and get support than get a free theme and find out it’s lights on, nobody home.

    I had high hopes due to the recent 5-star reviews, but, alas, I cannot get the theme to work as advertised. If I can, I’ll revise my review. If not, I’ll have to move on to another theme.

    It is a beautiful theme but unfortunately there are many bugs, and theme creator did not update theme since July 2015 although WordPress is now at version 4.4.2 in 2016 …

    I have to agree with Bad_Egg…

    Nothing seem to work exactly as described. I started using the template several versions of WordPress ago – 4.1, 4.3… (since October 2015) but have never been able to get any support, either here or on the https://www.onedesigns.com/support site.

    Some of the functions have stopped working and come of the documentation has disappeared.

    This is the best theme ever. Free support, forum, knowledgebase. Far better than most of the premium theme and designed with basic users in mind. You can’t believe what it offers until you start interacting with it.

    Best of the free version of all themes, it is even powerful than some premium themes. It is far more better than customizr but few people know this.
