I’ve built two sites with this theme plus the paid premium add-on and a child theme. It makes great use of the customizer. Good documentation. Easy to work with.

The premium add-on is excellent value.

The code is well-organized and easy to follow. Everything is pluggable so it is easy to move code to the child theme and customize it without hacking the main theme.

Support is amazing. Response time is hours, not days! I hope the developers don’t burn themselves out.

I’m a new user of GeneratePress and I have to say, it’s rock solid and flexible enough for my needs. And your site, forum and support are top notch. I’m very pleased to have paid for Premium right off the bat.

I was using Headway, but there have been problems with the developers and I don’t feel that it’s reliable anymore. GeneratePress doesn’t offer GUI nuts and bolts the Headway does, but it’s easy enough to make changes I need with a combination CSS, the included hooks, and Elementor.

Don’t think I’ll need another theme ever again. So far I’ve made several blog sites, static homepages and a Woocommerce site. Everything just works.

Fast and reliable support.

Almost every spick’n’span has an id/class to hook into with CSS, as well as easily customizable hooks before and after every major site element to add your own HTML.

I created my first web site 20 years ago, in 1997. It won all kinds of awards, which was nice. I’d been a graphic designer and author, academic and speaker for close to 30 years at the time. So I was tough on the fairly primitive web that was available then. Demanding, but practical.

Fast forward 20 years and it’s all WordPress… and I’m just as demanding, but practical. Gone are all the whizz-bang gimmicks of the late 90s and early 2000s, like Flash and… and… (funny how you forget the names of all those “hot” tools, right?)

Now, I’m about clean, simple, attractive, stylish and practical, but I’m getting old and I want it easier. And really reliable, prompt support.

That’s where GeneratePress and Tom Usborne come in. After years of messing with increasingly complex and idiosyncratic software, including all the top packages — themes, plugins, frameworks, etc — I wanted something that would just do the job, right out of the box. Someone recommended it to me a few weeks ago and I checked it out. I was impressed — especially by the price — and by the really sensible approach to getting results, quickly and stylishly.

Now I’m churning out sites rapidly… and I’m actually enjoying it. The couple of questions I’ve had, both technical, have been promptly and succinctly answered and easy to implement.

I’m more than satisfied. I’m thrilled. Thanks Tom for a really useful and valuable platform from which to rebuild my hundreds of personal sites and legacy sites, as well as sites for marketing consulting clients.

2017 is looking like an exciting year.

If you want to customize your own website without hiring a developer, you must get GeneratePress Premium. Very, very good support that will help you with any issue!

I love how quickly and I can control how I want my site to layout as well and post content. But most of all Tom is the best support! I always look for how good support for any service is before I proceed and Tom certainly does not disappoint.

The premium version made it even better!

I have used GeneratePress as a parent theme for a number of projects – and have been meaning to leave a review. Every time I use GP I am so glad I found it! It’s great for clients who want to do their own customization via the WordPress Customizr – and GeneratePress provides loads of improvements over the default WordPress customizer. It has also been great for me because it’s incredibly flexible when it comes to adding custom PHP functions & CSS. And Tom’s support has been great. I am amazed when I do a Web search for something GeneratePress-related (e.g. a custom function, or a CSS tweak) there is always a ton of great information that Tom has made publicly available. No complaints – if I could give GeneratePress 6 stars, I would!
