Choosing the slides for the homepage requires your enter the page or post ID’s. Would have been nice if I could just choose from a dropdown.

Slider does NOT resize the featured images, so the slider changes in height with every slide, which is a bit silly….

    I installed because I wanted a nice clear website. But simple mods to it are really only achievable by editing CSS. This needs improving so, for instance, it is easy to change colours, type and so on.

    I’m giving it 4 stars because it is a serious pain to customize any structural part of this theme. Every part of the theme is created through hooks and functions rather than template files. So, expect to be unhooking and re-hooking functions instead of editing templates in your child theme. Your functions.php file is going to be miles long just to add a new div in the header.

    That said, if structural edits are not something you need then this theme is pretty cool. The featured image to slider option is nice and it has a lot of layout and style options. If you like the way it looks and works out of the box or CSS style changes are all the customization you need then its a great theme.

    Few suggestion.

    • Add a Multi Color option that will change whole website color.
    • Use font-awesome not Genericons.
    • Show large search form on 404 and no-result page.
    • Write Generic css for button (like: input[type="submit"]{})

    This is a great theme.

    Love this and chose it because it is so clean and it works well on mobile devices… in fact it is the best theme I have found for a huge project site of mine. My only wish is that it was BuddyPress friendly. I use it on a big social site I run for a large community (3000 people) and if it was more interactive and worked with buddypress my life would be complete.
