I absolutely love working with this theme. It is clean and offers a professional look. I used it to redo my corporate website. The customization is quick and painless – just takes a little expoloring and you’ll be up and running. I highly recommend it!

Thinkupthemes has done the hard work for you. I use their themes in several websites and am quite happy with the product, so are my clients. I bought the entire package as it was a deal well worth the investment. The only place where this company is lacking is in the way they communicate the “self help” support. They have videos, knowledge base, support, and are very helpful (Monday through Friday) but most of the answers to problems are on the website, but is hard to find because of the lack of tags in the documentation. Since most themes have a repeating agenda the answer is in the knowledge base. That is helpful, but not complete. If this company actually put a help menu next to every option within the theme with a link to the page that explains the feature, it would be the perfect in every way. If your question is whether or not to invest in the theme(s) I would say “YES” it is a good investment. Support is good, they do get back to you within a reasonable amount of time but the knowledge base needs to be improved for most web designers who need answers quickly. Nonetheless, buy it and use it. Very good product.

I am horrible with my reviews to theme writers so getting a good review from me is says something.

I’ve wasted about 2 hours tonight trying to find a simple theme for a simple site. None of them offer simple common sense edits. Once I uploaded yours it took about 15 to 30 minutes for me to tame it. I will use yours first next time.

My only complaint is that you resize the logo. But that was easy enough to fix with css.

I really did like the theme because the user doesn’t have to scroll to get to the 3 sections below the slider.

But, there are several issues.

1. Developer doesn’t give any info as to the size of images to use in the header. Had to experiment because of this lack of basic info.

2. it’s listed as a responsive template, but it is not responsive. The slider images are too large.

Run the mobile-friendly Google test on it and Google says it is not mobile-friendly. It won’t even pass the minimum requirements for the latest mobile search update by Google.

3. Instead of a simple way to find the font colors in the CSS, they are called textarea, which is a term for a text box, so it’s confusing.

4. No way to link the whole slider image to a page instead of the “read more” button being the only choice.

5. Had to do some CSS editing just to get that read more button on the slides to be on the bottom right, where it makes more sense than the middle left covering part of the slide.

6. No way to make the 3 images below in featured boxes link to a page.

7. No info on how large the featured images below the slider should be.

I would have bought the premium version, but since the free version wasted hours of my time and is unusable, I see no reason to buy anything.

Why is it listed as responsive/mobile-friendly when it doesn’t pass the basic requirements in a mobile-friendly test?

When Google does their Mobilegeddon update as some are calling it, rankings for sites using this theme will rank poorly.

The only test that matters in that regard is the Google test at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/ Test this theme for yourself.

I am new to this.

I like the theme and the website looks really good.

But when I look at the website it has this weird link under the site logo.

I did not put that link over there and tried everything on the theme home page to get rid of it…. but I cannot get rid of it.

Can anyone please help

Simple question – what size should the image be in the homepage content boxes….on their facebook page…they had time to answer the question to say they wouldn’t answer the question…at least have a help page for the free theme with directions on how to use it…

bad customer service for wordpress themes/products = less wordpress users.

Looking for a theme that works. Looking for great support because themes are always breaking and messing things up.

I do really like the appearance of the theme. I’m having some cosmetic issues with my website and I’m hoping that switching over to Pro will fix them, but my concern is whether upgrading to Pro would be a fix to my cosmetic issues and whether it will be a seamless transfer, or would it create more problems? Both myself and my boss have tried to contact the developer through the actual website to get some questions answered before purchasing pro… but still no answer. Hoping this is not an indicator of their services.

Gets a solid 5 for two reasons. First, for someone like myself who doesn’t build websites from “scratch” this theme really made me look like I knew what I was doing! I used it for a medical physics site and it came out very professional looking.

Second, the support for this theme is excellent. I was very pleased with the almost instant help I received from the authors on the forum. It was nice they were so willing to give me the little CSS code I needed to tweak something.

I have used/tried/tested many, many, many themes.

This one is so customizable in powerful, yet very easy, ways. There have been several nice looking themes I could never figure out. My sites looked nothing like the pictures.

***I had a concern, with link appearance – I have an important specialized need. I created a mess with CSS. The theme author listened, understood, took the time to view my site and cusomize the solution I needed. Outstanding support.***

I have over 50 pages to my site, so finding a WP theme with enough menus/menu space was very difficult. Especially if you want visual appeal too.

This is my favorite WP theme that I have ever used. It took my semi-amatuer-looking WP site to a professional level it-doesn’t-look-like-WP presentation in minutes. I have been developing the site for years (its holds all my material for a class I teach, plus student activities). I never presented it to peers, until now. It is going to be featured in the next newsletter.

Thank you for a great theme. And for taking my site to the next level (and so easily).
