Flexibility By nikita_a, 2017-07-12 via themeforest.net I LOVE the designs that Mikado offers - HOWEVER they have to be the least user friendly for Visual Composer. VC is supposed to simplify things - however the way they have their themes structured within VC is absolutely horrendous. For that reason - I cannot recommend their themes - especially if you are new to Wordpress and VC.

Thank you for your feedback. Glad you like our design.
Please note that we have included plenty of our own, and very powerful elements into Visual Composer plugin, that's why the interface look a bit different than by default, but that does not mean that there is a problem, neither it's hard to use.
However, we don't find it really fair to rate a theme with one star only because of that, there are plenty more reasons a theme rating should be about. If you need some help with theme settings, our support team at https://mikado.ticksy.com is available to help, like we've done in the past. Our support team is there on your service to setup your site within our theme and if you are new to WordPress, some time is needed to get familiar and to explore all possibilities.
We hope to hear back from you so once all this is sorted you'll be satisfied and kindly reconsider this bad rating related to VC, not to our theme.

    It's a very cute theme but the code is HORRIBLE! They don't update it and they don't respond to support tickets in a timely manner. My developer actually felt so bad for me that he did some customizations for free. I'm a very capable person when it comes to modifying themes but this theme was basically a waste of money because I'm having to go in and redo certain php files and even hire a developer to help me with the truly horrible code.
    Honestly despite how cute it is I'll probably have to use another theme because it's that bad.
    For instance, the Woocommerce files are out of date and have been for some time, the font doesn't actually hold the customizations I'm trying to use, and them menu is spaced out horribly. It's so, so, so bad and I'm honestly upset that I wasted my money on it. Do yourself a favor and find another cute theme that's easier to work with.

    We do owe you an apology for waiting a bit longer, but we are back in full speed again and all tickets are answered within one day.
    Our agents will gladly assist you to setup your site on desired way within our theme or with any customization using theme options.
    We are working on our new updates, where we will add latest versions of included plugins.
    WooCommerce made some big changes in latest 3+ version, so we need to adjust our code to make it compatible.
    If you are not satisfied using our theme, you are always able to submit refund request via Envato market and after checking it could be approved.
