Spacious

Purchased ThemeGrill membership a week ago via their Paddle.com payment gateway and monies deducted from my account. However my membership status on ThemeGrill still shows as Pending and 2 support emails in a week has resulted in zero replies.

My first WordPress.org website, I started out with Spacious and upgraded to Spacious Pro. It’s worked out well, I’m especially happy with the developers’ quick and helpful responses to my questions when I couldn’t figure something out.

I have been using the SpaciousPro by ThemeGrill theme for some 7 months. This theme is fantastic for ease of use and aesthetics. Most importantly, the ThemeGrill Support Team is AWESOME!! Super fast response!!!

This is a really lovely looking fresh theme which im really delighted to be using. I wanted to remove meta data from posts and have the header photo only on the homepage. By browsing the forum I was able to alter these after they had kindly supplied the codes.
Highly recommended

It’s easy to work with and when I have a question, the developers have been really fast to respond.

I really like the design and flexibility of this theme. It’s nice, clean and free, BUT, thee are a few flaws that need addressing.

1. When you make a change to the theme in the customisation screen it dumps a shed-load of CSS in the header. It’s just messy.

2. Latest update, they changed a function of_get_options() to spacious_options() without any backward compatibility which broke any site using it with a child theme. This is a basic mistake that should never be made… In fact, with the 30+ themes I’ve used, not one has ever been so lax in its releases!

I recommend this theme for anyone who wants a clean and simple theme that is highly customizable even if you don’t have super programming skills. I needed help with an issue (and it was not easy for me to explain the problem in WP-terms). The support explained patiently and helped me to get a solution – YEAHHH

I’m new to wordpress but I have been experimenting with the Spacious Theme by themegrill. They say in the description that there are 4 page layouts. What does it mean. Can someone tell me what they are, I am only aware of 1 page layout.

I like very much this theme which is simple to use with a nice design.

Combined with a page builder and a good set of plugins, you get a nice framework for many projects.

2 SEO improvement items :
– the h1 heading on the site title should be on home page only
– on the blog page, blog titles should be h2 and not h1

if this is solved I am happy to change the rating to 5star.

Nice theme. I tried a couple of free themes. Spacious Free has a clean code. Everything is good commented, you can find anything you want.

My website wwww.marketingoveporadenstvo.sk uses the Spacious Free theme. Only problem I solved was the one with Polylang plugin. It simply did not work with Spacious Slider. Since it is a free theme, you cannot expect much help
