Toivo Lite

It’s a very nice template, really great looking.

I decided to download it to my testing site this afternoon. I really like the “feel” of this theme. I’ve used one of Sami’s themes on one of my sites a few years ago, and this one is absolutely beautiful!

I’m also using the Custom Content Portfolio plugin, and I haven’t been able to display that on the front-page. I was able to display the Child Page(s) and Blog Posts, but not the Portfolios. I’m sure I did something wrong, so I’m giving this 5 starts regardless of that.

I’ve followed Sami’s work for a number of years, so it was an absolute privilege that he used our service (ThemeReview.co) to get his code audited for best practices and security. Our team studied the code line-by-line, character-by-character and found almost no issues. And, the handful of trivial issues that we did find were quickly fixed by Sami. The only real problem we had when reviewing his theme was thinking that he wasn’t getting his money’s worth from us because there were so few issues we could help him with. I’ve reviewed 1,000s of themes and can tell you that it’s rare to find something so well-coded and thought out. Like rare on the level of seeing a real-life unicorn.

After 12 years of experience with Web dev/design, there are few themes that I’ve seen that meet the quality of work that Sami put into his theme.

You put great design, great code, and best practices for accessibility all together in one package, it makes for one heck of a WordPress theme. I only hope other theme authors will follow suit.

I’m running the pro version of Toivo and it’s simple fantastic. It’s top quality and top support from Foxland.

I spent a while to figure out whether my content would fit and there it was. it challenged me in a good way to see my content in a different angle, and now I simply love it.

Toivo have a lot of opportunities once you start working with it, and it’s very user friendly.

In addition I really like the way Foxland limit the end-user from touching too many “dangerous” elements and yet there are plenty of room for tweaking and distinguishing from the rest.

It does everything it says it does, and works great.

I can’t say enough good things about this theme. It looks so good and works really well. Top-notch. I’ll be keeping my eyes out for other new themes created by Sami Keijonen.

I currently don’t have this theme in use myself, but from what I saw and tested out in the demo, it looks and feels just amazing!

At the same time, this theme has a very “simple” design approach but with great attention to the details. Solid, it just works.

Knowing this – independent – theme author, I know that his code is very robust and top-notch, just like the design. And yes, Sami also knows his translation/ multilingual stuff, so non-English people rejoice and give this one here a try!

Currently, I am thinking about possibilities and projects where I could use this AWESOME LOOKING theme…

It’s preview is impeccable, so I decided to give it a try and download the theme to test with my own WordPress and my own demo data. The result was the same, impeccable.

Also I could easily change colors and get a nice static front page with the customizer preview.

Two other things I liked most in this theme is the Callout feature, that you can setup from the customizer, and the other feature is footer widgets that is beautiful by default.
