Easy to use and configure, with lot of options to make it the best choice for your blog. Good slider, clean and free.

The functionality of this theme is beyond reproach. How they’ve put this together is absolutely awesome. There’s an option for just about every aspect of the theme. It installs well, Looks GREAT, and is easy to play with. A few tweaks and you can get it to look the way you want it.
Love It!

A proffessional site with no moding, it’s all there, just as you would hope and more.

Good Theme – needs better documentation
By deuxbiers, 2013-06-25

I chose this theme because I wanted a basic template that didn’t allowed me to hack easily.
Custom_community allows that. My only criticism is it could do with more documentation.

Good theme with minor problems
By driflin, 2013-06-25

The theme is overall easy to use and adjust, but has some minor problems. E.g. that it took me some work to make sure it didn’t double all my posts. Some of the theme setting could also be a bit more user friendly.

Flexible but not perfect
By digitalsmithy, 2013-06-25

Considering it’s free – fantastic theme. I’ve tried MANY themes for clients and MANY promise they can be customised and work with BuddyP etc.
Custom Community is the only one that seems to hit the right balance – it actually IS BuddyP ready, and has enough custom stuff without becoming unmanageable.
The Good
It has built in Buddypress support which is very useful (if needed).
Very flexible options, lots of colour choices, layout options etc.
You can have colours or images as background for post/page/widget – even some titles. Custom logo and header.
The options are the best laid out I’ve seen – very clear and easy to navigate.
My quibbles are…
The ‘responsive’ layout can get ugly, with search-boxes and menu’s overlapping other content when browser window is resized.
The header effects only work within tight restrictions (certain page widths).
I’d like a little more flexibility in changing padding/margins without having to go into CSS.

Bad Service
By jfmetcalf1, 2013-06-25

I would stay far away from these people, I purchased the pro version and when it started to have problems on there end they basically bailed on there people. Getting assistance from them is non existent. Sad when a company walks away from the people that made them successful.

wonky theme, no support even for paid version
By jeffisme, 2013-06-25

Like others, it seems, I bought the paid pro version and got screwed. Every post is duplicated (other themes don’t have that problem). I wrote to the theme’s creators and filed a report request and the request was deleted. I filed another and it was ignored. Next stop is the credit card company. I am just not in the habit of giving people bad reviews, so this is a real rarity and was still hesitant to do so until I saw others saying the same thing.
