I was looking for a theme with bbPress support and I discovered FirmaSite: a free theme with full support for bbPress and BuddyPress.
Simple to set up and integrated with a slideshow.
And if you want to customize it you can easily create a child theme (like I did on http://www.jqueryitalia.org )
I recommend it to everyone!

Very nice theme! Easy to set up and it meet all current standards and needs for good looking and functional website build with WordPress (and BuddyPress too). I am currently using it on few blogs, like http://recipetv.org and some others too.
There is also many skins to use if you wish different color, and hips of different google fonts…
Just stunning!

It is a very good and feature rich theme.
very flexible with build in templates to choose from.

I was looking for a Buddypress-compatible, responsive and customization-options rich theme after getting a few issues with the one I had before.
Quite happy I found Firmasite, which I intend to use, apart from Aspectus Africa for other coming projects.
Worth mentioning is the very responsive support!

I changed to this theme after fighting with another one for weeks, everything that didn’t work with the previous theme works with this one, it’s simple and very well written. It also has great support by the developer.

i used this theme for a webisite mainly about laws and regulations, some products (no eshoping).
the theme is easy to setup, gives you a lot of choices, many layouts to choose and options to customize, looks modern, but above all, the support i had for 2 custome changes i wanted to do, was fantastic.
i posted a question on the themes support site, http://theme.firmasite.com/support/forum/theme-support/
and i got an answer in few mins!!!!
a very high recommend, for presentation like companies and information websites.

Professional Template Recommended

If you run a blog, it shouldn’t surprise you numerous free theme templates exist — both directly through WordPress and in numerous places online. Of course, you can purchase templates from a variety of sources, too.
This week, I was testing someone of the themed programs (paid versions) and did find a few programs that would be a fit. I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for so I took a chance and went back to the free WordPress themes.
That’s where I cam across a theme called FirmSite. and another called Customizr. I choose FirmSite as the template I’d use to update my blog. I am more than happy with the results. You can see what I created right here at the blog your’re reading.
There were a few tweeks that I wanted to make and I went to the company’s website which offers forum support. The software developer, Ünsal Korkmaz, was very generous with his support and help.
I was so impressed that I decided to write this plug for his theme. You can learn more about it at http://theme.firmasite.com/ but the easiest way to insert it into your WordPress blog is to find it in the theme and then easily insert it.
What I like about the theme:
The support is above great.
It is modern and looks very professional
It includes sliders if I choose to use them.
It was easy to insert my header graphic into the program.
It comes with 13 different “looks” and then you can customize them further.
You can easily add information on the right side using Widgets
You can include 3 columns within the look of the page (see the bottom of this page).
In addition to the blog pages showing full articles or snippets of articles, you can tile the articles to show 10 or so articles on a page.

Works fine with wordpress mu (3.5.2–nl_NL) + buddypress (1.7.2) + bbpress (2.3.2) Also exellent service. Theme file ../functions/buddypress.php was immediately adapted after reporting a bug.

This theme uses Twitter Bootstrap and it’s very well coded so even a novice user can tweak it easily.
Besides, the author offers an amazing support which is by far much better than other support offered by some “pro” themes developers.
