Other By mackmaster, 2017-05-09 via themeforest.net I have selected "other" as my main reason as I would like to rate 5 stars to the Janxcode team on a few areas I have experienced since purchasing the template.
If I ever got stuck, I would post a question to their support team and I was assisted timeously with the correct information.
Regarding the code and configurability of the template, I feel it has been well built with lots of future thought in mind. Refreshing to see guys doing this.
Well done guys, keep it up!
Bugs By neilkahn, 2017-04-17 via themeforest.net 1. Can't download demo themes, creator uses such a bad server so always timeout 504.
2. Theme is insecure and hackable, the theme loads assets through http and not https. Had to go into ReBuild Wordpress Theme - V1.0.2\Upload\rebuild\admin\assets\js\smof.js and update everything to https coz developer coded it in http. For example, see code line 605:
$(' head').append (' < link href=" http:// fonts. googleapis. com/css?family='+ the_font +'" rel=" stylesheet" type=" text/css" class= "'+ _linkclass + '">');
Loads Google Fonts via HTTP and NOT HTTPS!!! Good for Man in the middle Hacking Attacks.
3. Jquery the theme uses very old JQuery 1.7 and older in many places needs to be updated to version 3.2 and use Migrate. These old versions are well documented to have XSS attacks.
4. Support, thank you for replying but when I try to login to your support I get this error message everytime on your website:
https :// janxcode.ticksy.com/?ref=envato?error=invalid_request&error_description=Wrong%20RedirectUri%20provided
So I can't login and contact support because it doesn't work right now!!!
5. Please can the author update his reply and we can talk to fix and these problems, I really want to get this all sorted out and also I want to be able to install the demo. Which right now is not working at all.

One-click demo Importer are packaged with your theme as plugin and they are hosted on your server once you installed the theme. So installation read from your hosting and not from any external resources.

for this we can update it to load like this:

This simple change will make your browser call the Google Font page in the applicable mode (HTTP vs HTTPS).

Yes, jQuery is part of WordPress core. But--it can become outdated, because jQuery updates can happen in between WP releases. The recent release of WordPress does use a very recent version of jQuery.

We are really sorry for that, but on ticksy servers there some maintenace were going on...but still you can reach us for urgent case through our private messaging on themeforest to test your issue on ticksy and for sure will fix it .... We believe after sale care is most important
