Ends up costing more than most premium themes

Storefront may be ok if you need a very basic site that looks exactly like the theme demo. I personally found even the most basic of changes (like changing a font or the menu bar colour) required the purchase of a premium Woothemes plugin or ‘extension’ (google ‘storefront extensions’ to see the list). These plugins are absolutely terrible and do so little for the money that it’s almost laughable. I wasted so much time and effort buying many of these plugins before realizing it would be much easier, quicker and cheaper to purchase a premium theme. Clever but underhand marketing IMO – no doubt this ‘free’ theme makes Woothemes a heck of a lot of money! Woothemese support is absolutely terrible also, they take several weeks to answer support inquiries about their paid for premium products so don’t expect any help with their free theme. I ended up going with the Avada theme, which requires no coding knowledge and has really excellent and fast technical support. Sorry but I feel ripped off by Storefront and Woothemes.

It appears that all of the addons, customizations and anything to implement your “WooCommerce/WooThemes” site is a premium addon, costing about $50-75 USD a piece.
Thank you, but if I wanted to pay for a fully featured commerce site, I wouldn’t be putting it together myself.

Great theme & easy to use

The model of this theme is spot on.
Stripped all the optional ‘bloat’ e.g. sliders, page builders etc leaving a super fast, lean theme. (The fastest theme I’ve tested using page speed tools!) Also, with the option of additional plugins for added functionality, if needed.
Definitely the way forward for future themes.

I like this particular site template design because its easy to get up an running quickly, there’s not a lot of complications and most importantly for small unknown businesses it’s transparent, which gives the visitors a straight forward connection that doesn’t waste their time with product blog tactics or review and recommend. It’s niche branded and clear cut but informational internal links as well. And that also decreases bounce rate. It’s that, “this is who we are are, and this is what we provide” factor. And this template is perfect with that dynamics if your wp site approach is more visual then literature.
