  • Bugs By jamecommerce, 2016-11-28 via themeforest.net All in All this is an excellent theme but be careful, If you plan on using SSL install your cert before designing and design the site in HTTPS or all of you images will become forced http: urls and give mixed content warnings in browsers (BAD FOR E-COMMERCE). You need a plugin for SSL if you design then implement a SSL Cert after completing yur design work, OH, and good luck finding one that works, NONE of the ones available on wordpress worked on this theme so I actually had to download one from a competitor..LOL.... I pulled my hair out and finally fixed it, I originally gave a bad review due to frustration and lack of documentation on implementing ssl for Woocommerce on this theme. Who uses ecommerce without a cert? It should be native to be able to use Relative urls or have an option to check "USE THEME WITH SSL" right in general settings. . I dont like to open support tickets and WAIT Days for an answer, I usually scour the blogs, and comments for fixes. I could not find any thing useful. All suggestions failed or were never marked as conclusive Direct answers were directed to open tickets and the results never published which helps no one. Just my 2 cents. Anyone publishing a theme that claims compatibility should make it effortless for the designer to implement an SSL Cert and check a box in a general settings tab without relying on third party plugins to do your work for them.

    Hello,
    We are glad to hear that you managed to find a workaround with some 3rd party plugin. All images uploaded to wordpress will use http links when user is using site without SSL certificatem but when certificate is installed, user have to set WordPress links to https from general options and this is default WordPress functionality. You can find plenty tutorials on the internet which explains this. In case that you encounter some issues in future, feel free to contact our support by submitting a ticket at https://qode.ticksy.com/ and our support team will help you out with all theme related questions. Also, it is good to hear about suggestion regarding making an option for forcing https links. We’re not working on that at the moment but we’ll add your suggestion to the theme feature requests list and see what our team think about it. If approved, it will become available from one of future theme updates.
