Catch Responsive

The support is excellent!

I can only recommend Catch Responsive as well as the team behind it. They work very professional and help you within some hours. Furthermore the themes are nice looking and most important mobile friendly!

Received answers quickly on some customization I couldn’t figure out through their forum.

While it is a pretty good theme, it has a few challenges when trying to use it.

Migrating a site from dev to live and attempting to change the URL is a nightmare with this theme… the usual find and replace on post_content doesn’t work because they serialize most of the images .

This means that to migrate a site live, I had to go through and manually update about 20+ image URL’s to point to the live url – just a pain in the arse I’d prefer to avoid.

Also, the premium theme purchase only lasts for a year so after 1 year, you keep getting this annoying nag to update but there is no update available… Stick with theme forest themes – they provide lifetime updates so your never at risk of threats.

the home page slider was a little hard to figure out (instructions at https://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-responsive/#featured-slider) but once I caught on, I think it’s terrific. A great theme for picture-heavy websites.
