I’ve been using this theme from Themegrill for 1 year, the free version, and it’s really a good one ! It’s highly customizable, stable with lots of features. The support they give you is awesome on their forum.

being a beginner i searched for lot of free themes to begin my first site and out of so many themes this was the only one with so many options and so many customization . The custom css tab allows for so much more customization too and the support moderators are always active and helping out anyone who is facing any problem with this theme .

Best Design, Comprehensive Documentation, Responsive Support and a large installed base that results in a robust forum.
Over the years as a website developer I have used many free templates and purchased dozens. For the past two weeks I have been using ColorMag (Pro version $69) to build the most complex site I have ever done.
A spectacular design that is fresh and flexible. Options are many and how to use them is thoroughly explained, with perhaps the best documentation I have seen for a WP Theme—paid or otherwise.
The support staff is helpful and respectful. ThemeGrill is my new go-to resource.
