Description by Author

Flat Bootstrap by XtremelySocial is a modern, fully responsive, "flat" style theme with a nice color palette, big full-width images, and full-width colored sections. It automatically adapts for desktops, tablets, and phones. It is based on the WordPress standard starter theme (_S) and the Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework. Features include a mobile navigation bar, multiple columns (grid), buttons, icons, labels, badges, tabbed content areas, collapsible content areas, progress bars, alert boxes, carousels (sliders) and much, much more. This is a theme for both users and theme developers with lots of features but without the bloat. For a live demo go to http://xtremelysocial.com/wordpress/flat/. PLEASE NOTE: Version 1.9 has had a major "spring cleaning" of the functions, templates, and CSS. Please be sure to test it out on your site.

  • Disappointed – Error 404 Occurs When Trying to Log Out By shammah, 2014-03-25 via wordpress.org

UPDATE ON REVIEW POSTED ON MARCH 29, 2014 (BELOW)

I ‘humbly’ withdraw the review that I posted on this theme. I ought to have known that the errors incurred were as a result of something that I had done! Despite this self-induced mess, the owner/designer of this WP Theme was more than helpful with suggestions in how I could fix errors that I had caused! He even went so far as to provide me with a “free” alternative that he has yet to release!!

I chose this theme because of its simplicity. Despite that simplicity, I seemed to complicate it. I could have switched to another when I encountered these errors, but I liked and do like how it handles my content!!

I had originally used a WP theme that I had paid for – and let me tell you that I got better service and response from the owner of this design than:

    >>>my own web host. Actually still haven’t heard from them; and
    >>>the design owner of the theme that I had purchased.

Again, I retract the original bad rating. I could have deleted it, but I wanted the public to be aware of how well I was treated and helped, despite the fact all of the issues were caused by me!!

    My site is http://shammahspace.ca.

    Thanks Tim!!

I recently (less than a week ago) decided to try out this theme on my site (http://shammahspace.ca). It ran for a few days, no problems. On March 28th, 2014 I got a 404 error message when trying to logout of my site:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/sham8551/public_

    html/wp-content/themes/flat-bootstrap/404.php on line 12

I posted on the help form. I got a response from someone asking me to delete the following code, which I did:

    <meta name=”p:domain_verify” content=”547

    e9ea4e9a1acdac2ba21e8c7fa1242″/>

It didn’t help. Again, tried to log out and got this error message:

Oops! That page can’t be found.
Or as techies would say, its a “404 Error”

The person who provided the first ‘supposed solution’ has not replied to the last forum update submitted to him yesterday.

I updated my forum post this morning wanting to know what was happening and whether or not I should make efforts to contact the theme designer.

I certainly would appreciate some help on this one folks. For the last several years I have been using a theme that I paid for with no issues.

The errors are only visible when logged in and attempting to log out. My site url is http://shammahspace.ca

    Thanks.
