Kale

Kale is the prefect theme for my healthy food blog. Still learning how to customize it to fit my wishes but so far the support here has been quick and on point.

Very happy with this choice!

I’m pretty amazed by Kale. That says a lot because in this day of free templates and really subpar customer service everywhere I go, the free template version AND also the individuals that run their customer support division should be applauded. Three years ago, I worked with a web developer to get a website off the ground. We went with wordpress.org and a paid template from another company whom I won’t name. Cut to present day, and the site is deteriorating because their customer support just refuses to get back to us. So I was very wary this time around using another template from another company found through wordpress, but I just fell in love with Kale the moment I took their demo for a test run. So clean, and intuitive – it had everything I was looking for in my new lifestyle website. Since I had experience using wordpress.org a few years back, I was able to set most of the Kale site up in a couple days. I just have to upload the photos and text, but that’s through wordpress, and pretty basic stuff. However, I had one minor issue, and found the wordpress support site and decided to start a ticket for my issue. It wasn’t so much an issue, as I just couldn’t figure out how to do something pretty standard, but through the Kale template and not through wordpress, so it was new to me. I had hoped someone would get back to me within a week. To my amazement, a real live human from Kale got back to me the very next day?! What?? That’s just unheard of. Not only is their template just beautiful and easy to set up (it helps to have a working knowledge of wordpress.org), they actually have people that can help you. Highly, highly recommend them AND their Kale template. Take the demo for a spin, you’ll love it!

They get back to me right away and help to customize my site exactly how I want!

My site had gone stale and some life changes had reprioritized for us, so I decided to try Kale (the free version). I am so glad I did. Kale made a huge difference and I’m sure once I upgrade to pro, it will only get better.

Plus tech support is amazing. I broke the CSS and they fixed it within a few hours. On the FREE version. Can’t beat that with a stick!

Incredible tech support! Any questions or concerns are addressed rapidly. The theme is simply gorgeous and incredibly easy to use with all of WordPress’ features. The theme truly is versatile. Although I was drawn by the beautiful representation of food and desserts on Kale, I knew that it would be just right for my cake decorating e-commerce business. Quite simply I just know its going to blow my customers away when I launch it next week!!

We used Kale for our latest nonprofit project and couldn’t be happier. There are several options for customizing widgets that are easy to understand without any prior WordPress experience. I can’t speak for all their templates, but this one definitely is worth trying out!

I can’t express, how thankful I am for this theme and the support. It’s a very beautiful, clean design and works perfectly for my blog.
Doesn’t matter, which problem I’m trying to solve… The support-team is always right by my side and has helped me with everything I wanted to customize.

I’ve been working with, and customizing premium themes for more than a decade. Kale is a gem of a find. This theme is an optimal mix of typography, form, function and appropriate level of customization.

It’s easy and intuitive to setup. This is an unusual combination, especially for a free theme.

It’s advertised as a great foodie theme. But don’t let that mislead you. It’s an equally great minimal theme.

I contacted Lyrathemes support concerning a bug. And got a personal response, with a fix, the next day. Five stars for their support staff as well.

I am new at building websites, and this theme is intuitive enough for a beginner, yet the results look clean, polished and beautiful. The support staff is incredibly helpful and very quick, which is key — when you are new to building a website, an issue can just stop your progress completely until it’s resolved. Thankfully, the people at Lyra Themes provide answers quickly. Oh, and I did not use this theme for a food blog — although it has cool features particular to food sites, I find its minimalistic look & customizations work well for my needs, as well. In a sea of endless themes, Kale is a great find!
