Internet Explorer compatibility and drop down menu

This this is really great, simple and smart. I am setting up my site or my own business as an architect and I think the room it gives to images is great, while keeping a very clean structure.
However, 2 issues I find:
– how can I make this them be visible and compatible with Internet Explorer users? I tried both from IE 8 and 10 and in both cases the layout is totally tweaked
– is it possible to create a drop down menu with parent and child pages? That would be very helpful.

This theme is one of my most favourite ones that I’ve ever used. Highly recommended if you want a nice looking theme. Support is excellent (although I’ve not needed any yet! So straightforward!)

Love the theme, support and attitude of Sanjip.
The theme passed checks with ‘Theme Check’ and ‘Theme Mentor’ plug-ins to aid in insuring me compatibility with the WordPress core.
Sanjip also seems positive, and helpful in the support forum in the questions and comments that I have read.

Great responsive theme alternative to TwentyFourteen

Radiate is really a big improvement over the ugly and unusable Twenty Fourteen theme and much better than other costly responsive themes of this kind.
The only gripe I have: There is no option to turn off the horizontal repetition of the header image in the case that it’s width is below 1500 px (which most images are!). Why not offer the option to simply center it onto a white or solid-colored background?

Wow, WordPress and this theme are SO easy! I’m totally new to WP and redoing an old website (pre-CMS) is much faster than anticipated and the look/feel will be very professional.
