    I guess this theme is nice to someone who looks for a REALLY simple thing and support works to help you if you get it (they helped me, really!, to implement it, even if I had to wait more than a day to have an answer each time, maybe due to timezones). But I have 15 GTMetrix points less than with my old free theme, to translate the theme has been no so easy, and I can't be really happy with it as far as I see it... Sad, 'cause I love the header and footer styles :(
    Looking for a different theme to replace this one ;).

    Hi Rebeautys,
    I'm sorry to hear you're disappointed with the theme. Redwood is a pretty lightweight theme, however a lot of the points you will see from GTMetrix are things that should be fixed via plugin territory such as using a cache plugin. As well as serving properly scaled images, which is out of the hands of the theme for the most part.
    I'm quite surprised that you're leaving a 1 star review since we've been helping you out via our support site for the past 2 weeks, including help with customizations to the theme, and you seemed happy.
    The only issue we had helping you with, was the .po file translation, which normally works just fine for our users, but somehow you were having trouble getting it set up. We tried logging on to your FTP server in order to take a better look at your setup, but the login info you provided us did not work. Instead we gave you instructions to translate some words directly within the theme files as an alternative option.
    If you'd like us to provide further guidance or information on the points I made above, we'd be happy to do so over at our support site. However we're very confident that Redwood is a lightweight, simple theme which operates just great. We haven't had any other customers report such issues which weren't solvable.

I asked Solo Pine support for help. I received an answer the same day. The solutions suggested were detailed and helpful. In the end Solo Pine helped out manually and quickly. I was able to start creating my blog after a short while. The way of communicating was very pleasant. Buying the Redwood theme I can highly recommend also to beginners in WordPress!

    I'm sorry to hear that! We're confident the theme isn't buggy.
    I can see that you've posted 2 ThemeForest comments asking for assistance; one 4 months ago and one 5 months ago. One is regarding a plugin, and one is regarding the slider.
    In both situations we said we would be happy to help you if you could open up a support ticket at our support site. Though I can't find any record of you opening a support ticket. We're very happy to assist with any theme questions or issues, but our hands are tied unless you open a ticket via the correct venue. If you could open up a support ticket, we're there to assist!
