Bug Header doesn’t fit screen

I loved it from the first moment I discovered it. I had long been looking for themes and this seemed to me the most complete. So I decided to put it was for the video which explains how to install it http://modernthemes.net/documentation/sensible-documentation/sensible-theme-setup/

I was really looking forward to using this theme with myself and clients, but not being able to put in pics (vs) icons is silly. While I am a programmer, doing so would disrupt the integrity of the theme and future theme upgrades. Why waste so much time on such an inflexible theme? I’d rather see them raise the price and make give us more options. After learning that I could not even do some things with the paid version, I opted out. I do love how you can change the front page though (Full screen, etc.). Again, why go this far and stop the creative process? I would love to only use one company for all of my themes. Hope they open this one up more because it is way too restrictive as is, even the new version.

I would recommend looking at ATHEMES themes. This theme admittedly borrowed much of its code from the Moesia and Sydney themes yet is more buggy and made few improvements. I have found the original themes to scale better on small devices and be less buggy.

I purchased Pro version but it did not provide any instruction on where to go to download the Pro version. I looked everywhere on modernthemes site but there’s no download option. In addition, I was not able to submit service inquiring about this. There’s no option. They want you to pay to submit a service ticket.

Something is wrong here. Theme looks good and I would like to test it out. Please make it right.

Ok I bought the pro version 2 weeks ago expecting some help with localization. But I’ve received no reply email. I posted on this forum now as well and likewise no response. I would not spend your money on the pro version.

This theme is a nice implementation of the Twitter’s bootstrap. Unfortunately there are many inbuilt restrictions.
If you understand PHP you can get around these restrictions with the risk that updates of the theme will override them.
I tried to create a child theme. It doesn’t work yet.

One of the best free themes I’ve seen.

Comes with a lot of Theme options to customize the homepage to your need.
The only disadvantage I found, is the order of content block on the homepage, can not be ordered the way you want.

You have to do this in the code of the homepage template.

The theme is very nicely designed and allows you to create a professional and stylish site that’s also functional, very quickly and easily. The built-in features on the theme allow you to do nearly everything to create a non-profit website like the one I am creating — and even has some features that I didn’t know I wanted, but which I’ve usefully incorporated into the site.

I’m new to WordPress, though, so I needed a lot of help to get the site up and running and looking the way I imagined. To this end the staff at modernthemes.net have been incredibly responsive and valuable. The tutorials they provide on their website were really helpful but for the tougher stuff (tough for me, any way) Mike at modernthemes.net has been really awesome, and a good teacher, too.

Very nice theme. Even though it does give you a lot of options it is easy to configure. Just one hint: if you want to use a static homepage, you will need to set the page layout to “home” after activating the theme.
Two things don’t work perfectly so far: while the theme is responsive the featured page pictures do not scale. And if you use the sarch function on your site te result list is not correctly formatted (font color of the headline identical to the background and thus not readable). I hope these will be fixed with the next update.
