WP Knowledge Base

This is really awesome for documentation based site. Surely using it for my plugins microsite.

This outshines just about every theme I’ve ever bought. It’s chock full of features, but each one is plainly laid out and explained so I can tweak it to my specific needs.

As josh401 pointed out, you can tell tons of care went into this theme. Thank you, Swashata, for blessing the WP community with this remarkable contribution!

I have been working with WordPress for a little over 3 years. I have created literally hundreds of sites with WordPress.

I also develop WordPress plugins (free and for fee). I was looking for a “wiki” styled website.. bud didn’t like many of the open source wiki projects.

THEN I FOUND THIS THEME

Wow. That’s all I can say. Wow.

This theme is rock-solid! It is safe, stable, non-bloated, and reliable.

Yes, there is a small learning curve. But, unlike many other free themes, you will get back what you put in here. There are no ‘dead ends’ here… everything works exactly as advertised.

The free Easy Bootstrap Shortcodes plugin is amazing for adding awesome sliders, panels, tabs, lists, callouts, and more.

Great theme, great speed, and great function!!

Overall this is an excellent implementation and is certainly great value given it is free yet provides a proper solution as a knowledge base. It is reasonably easy to setup though sometimes a bit of experimentation is required.

A few limitations:
– It is not clear how to add a company logo to the top of the knowledge base page.
– The Recent Articles dates are the date the article was created, the last edited date would be more useful.
– The requirement that the logo graphics be a circle is restrictive.
– Not all aspects appear editable though that may jsut be my lack of WP expertise.

We are going to be using the site, its definitely a great theme if your looking to building a KB.

This theme is just awesome. It’s usually difficult to find a theme of this quality in the wordpress.org repository. Thank for your work, Swashata!

I have been testing a good handful of plugins, self made attempts, and themes to achieve a nice usable intranet KB for my company.
Round and round I went with no avail.

Found this, installed, and completely happy within 5 minutes.
Simple, beautiful and running smooth so far.

Check authors doc site for a very fine example and clear documentation.

As a seasoned developer who has been with WP for many years, I can say this theme is worth a try. I am very happy.
