Bugs which don't get fixed by theme author
By nicoter, 2016-03-11

Have a look at the support threads and you’ll save yourself some time by avoiding this theme.
Too bad the author doesn’t care to fix the bugs. The fixes have even been posted in the support threads.

Site wouldn't load with this theme

Themes are often disappointingly unlike the demo provided, but at least they load. This one didn’t, so can’t really comment on its qualities.

Great theme !

Thank you for this very nice theme – it works perfectly fine with the last WordPress version and is faster than my current themes. I tried on two blogs and encountered no issue at all unlike the previous person who commented. I just wished it was possible to personalize more from the preview without editing the CSS, like the colors (links, background, before/after articles in single post) and fonts (size). I’ll certainly use it when I have time to edit. Sorry for my English.

Good theme, but could be improved further
By CI Media, 2015-09-25

Divina is a theme easy to set up and with a very attractive look.
Still, I’d like to suggest some improvements, after a first glance at it and a short series of tests (didn’t dig too deeply in code):
- Separate favicon setting. It feels weird to have a 512×512 px favicon, I tried with mine and it gives an 18kB (!) while my current favicon (16×16 px) is only 1kB. Let the mobile app icon be a separate picture altogether and the favicon another one.
- Remove the “Other <type> posts” link on post thumbnail hover. If someone wishes to see other image/ video/ … posts, let them do so from within the single post, but don’t distract him while he selects from the index page a post that interests him.
- The portfolio and the blog should be two different features in my opinion. As a graphic designer I need a portfolio to display my creations, but I also want to share thoughts with and write articles for my visitors – that’s why I need a separate blog feature.
- A Changelog should be provided and maintained. On the repository I could see that version 1.0 was uploaded in 2015, but I also noticed that for each revision, all files have been uploaded altogether; not even one file shows changes (as it should, if the developer took advantage from the svn features).
The above are some features I would like to have in a theme like Divina, but even without them I’d say it’s a nice and friendly theme and I’d like to thank the author for his work.
