I’d been dawdling on a website redesign for literally years while I looked for just the right theme. I finally found it when I discovered Focus. It prominently features all my posts and videos; I’m able to easily customize it with CSS; it works with all my plugins; and the customer service is outstanding. I’m using the premium version, which at $29/year is an absolute bargain. I highly recommend any theme by SiteOrigin, but especially Focus.

Beautiful, but all plugins break it

Appearance wise, it’s my favorite video centric theme. However, it conflicts with most of the plug-ins I needed to use with it. As pretty as it is, it’s not too pretty with php code all over it.

Excellent and Easy to use Theme for Videos

This is an EXCELLENT and very easy to use Theme. I was looking for a theme that I can use to display my own videos, (not Youtube, etc) and this one does just that. It does have the option to display videos on other sites, like YouTube, as well. It makes very nice post pages, with the background image as the Featured Image that you select! Very simple to use, and very simple to customize to your own taste. I used this theme. I have used PHPMotion before, but because of the constant hacking attacks, I switched to Word Press and was shown this theme by SiteOrigin.
They have a free version that works fine, but I was so impressed, I went ahead and paid for it! Well worth the money!
For a video based Word Press Site, FOCUS is the best that I have seen and used. 5 star rating all the way!

Problems with FOCUS Theme

I have an increasing number of issues with the Focus theme:
(i) Impossible to active the Responsive Display in Settings / Page display , it wouldn’t save the changes when I tick “activate”
(ii) Impossible to edit the pictures links when building a Gallery
(iii) The tagline appears nowhere

Good Theme for Video's

This is a very nice theme for showing off your videos. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was:
(1) they need to document a little better. Knowing you need to put an feature image on the post for the entire site to work would of saved me a lot of time!
(2) there is no social media links that you can have an option within the theme. I can add these several different ways but with premium themes you would think they would include to work with the responsive HTML.
All and all, very nice theme!
