Meris is a free WordPress theme that can be use for various purposes, for business, travel, food, service and more. The clean homepage layout is very flexible due to it allows to add widgets. Meris theme comes with full-width sliders in the homepage and small featured sliders in the sidebar(optional), portfolios, social icons, slogon, and other popular widgets. More options are given to the sidebar setting: no sidebar, left sidebar, right sidebar, and sidebar on both sides. Furthermore, Font Awesome Icons are avaible in the theme to add icons aywhere. This theme is built with the latest HTML5 and CSS3 website standard (from the Twitter Bootstrap), and fully responsive in different browsers and displays. Meris is the ideal theme to create your personal websites and business websites for company.

    The homepage tools are great and I love the dynamic widgitized homepage, although it could do with a bit of explaining. The slider settings are easy enough too.

    However the theme itself has lots of issues at small resolutions (especially around the slider and the navigation) and at large screen sizes the slider background images look ugly if they’re not big enough (it’s easy to make them pretty enough with some CSS).

    The theme cannot handle you having more than a few navigation items either, if your nav falls on to two lines then the dropdown children menus become unusable.

    Buggy and unintuitive. Support is spotty, and the manuals are useless for any issues encountered after setting up the theme. Also haven’t been able to find the location from which one can download updates for the theme.

    If it’s true that the main slider is not responsive, then the whole thing was a complete waste of money.

    If only the drop down menu worked. It drops down, but as soon as you move to click on a sub menu option it disappears. I will gladly give 5 stars if you can fix this, because it really is a beautiful theme.
