Searching for free themes is a hit and miss affair and for the most part they all need a little customising to suit one’s need. The SKT – Black is one of the better themes out there for use as a solid base.

I have no ties to the designer, but thought it best to provide feedback as I feel the there is above average.

Positive points..
Plugins seem to work well with this theme.
CSS is clearly written and ordered well
Coding is remarked and well formatted
Customising options are simple but effective

Negatives…
I’d like a piece of string, Im not sure how long I want it, but I just want it now…

Oh wait, that’s my problem not SKT.

SKT Black is a simple, flexible and adaptable responsive multipurpose WordPress theme which can be used for multiple purposes and industries. Comes with a beautiful parallax slider. One can also set up this theme as a store as its compatible with WooCommerce and also other popular plugins like Contact form 7.     Beware that the free version of this theme doesnt support multilanguages in the Themes Options, altough they say it does.
    Also, it doesnt support PORTFOLIO as shown in the picture, only GALLERY and I had lots of problems. It’s still not showing correctly on my website, jumping from one image to an empty space.
    The LATEST NEWS section doesnt have an option to remove it and you cant change the title.
    Although I had a lot of work setting it, it proved to be a delusion and I’m thinking of switching to a better working theme.
    It’s a pitty because I really liked the look of this one.
    I think if the problems are corrected it has the potential to be a great theme.
    Considered buying it after I landed my first client (because of the TESTIMONIALS section on the pro version), but because of all this I gave up.
