Ample - Parallax Business Theme

Very good theme, certainly to recommend!

I’m trying it out for the moment. So far it looks nice, but I need to see if it’s compatible with Yada Wiki. If it isn’t I’ll just have to find another theme to use.

Which would be a shame because I found it easy to work with.

A great theme with great support. The theme is very easy to use and modify and the email support is top notch.

I wanted to make a few customizations to the theme that were not built into the theme. I asked ThemeGrill how to do it via email and in each case I received an email response within a day or so with the necessary CSS to enable my request.

I handle multiple websites with Themegrill and over this last year they have always given me excellent support on different themes.

Great, clean theme! I’ve used both ample pro and ample free for a few websites.

This is a pretty good theme, and the Business Template (note there is only one, can only be used on one page – probably want to use on your homepage … though this is normal convention anyway) is powerful. My only complaint is that the portfolio widget and “featured posts” widget only work with posts. Easily fixed by adding the “post type switcher plugin”. Convert your pages to posts if you want to use them with these widgets. Note that afterwards you’ll probably want to change your settings-permalinks so that they don’t include the date in the URL, so they won’t look like blog posts.

Also if your “read more” button on TG: Featured Posts widget are misplaced due to text overflows then add this to your custom CSS (under Customize – Design) to limit the length of the copied text to 2 lines:

line-height: 1.8em;
}

I also use the Unyson plugin for the other webpages (not the front page) so I can do similar stuff easily as is capable on the business template.

I do wish the slider was capable of full-page-width (edge to edge).

To template is very nice, and complete. The only thing that really bothers is the time spent for things to be adjusted or improved. The final product wasn’t really finished at its launch time.
But it’s ok for good support (not perfect)

I love this theme!!!!! I have used many different types of themes from various authors over the years and I have to say that this theme is so easy to use. The layout and design is smart and looks great across various devices. I would highly recommend this theme (and I am doing just that with several of my other of my web clients!) Thanks TG!
