To be fair this is an okay theme if you ONLY want a one page site with very little customization as you are limited to what you can do.

My average rating is due to the way pages and post pages are created. Terrible layout. I can only surmise this was done on purpose to get users to upgrade to the paid version. So if you plan on adding a blog in the future you may want to reconsider going with another theme.

Also the theme developer has hard coded their website information into the theme. So probably not a good choice if this is going to be used for business as it may be an SEO issue. Plus if it is for business you don’t want web visitors to see you’re using a free theme that links out to some other website.

I get that some developers do different things like I’ve mentioned because after all it is a “free” theme. However, I think if you’re going to offer something free you should still give the user the option to decide to promote your website and themes. Forcing the issue by hard coding it is in my opinion not a good idea.

At the end of the day if a theme is really good the quality will speak for itself and more users of the free version will upgrade. Otherwise it becomes an issue of trust.
