I have been using Quark for a year or so now and it is such a well built, powerful theme, yet offers almost limitless editing potentials to customise for my clients. A fantastic starter theme – many thanks.

I’ve used this theme for about 5 sites now. I got so tired of starting with themes that were loaded up with so much crap. I did a lot of looking around before I went with Quark for a quality “skeleton” theme and think I made a great choice. What does come “stock” with it are things that I would add anyways.

After searching for weeks for a good abd light starter theme – I found Quark theme and it is just great to work with. I created lots of sites over the last months based on the quark theme and it is still fun to work with. It is easy to customize and it includes all you need with a clean code, responsive grid, basic templates and already included features like fontawesome.

Quark is my go-to starter theme for almost every project, from simple sites to highly customized, complex monsters.

Well-annotated, and thoughtfully put together, it’s a great place to start, or an awesome theme right out of the box.

I’ve used a lot of WordPress themes throughout school and in my own work. Everything from starter themes like Underscores to premium WordPress themes. Hands down though, Quark is the best one I’ve found thus far. It’s my go to starter theme and it saves me so much time, but still allows me to develop custom theme designs to my heart’s content. I would highly recommend this theme to everyone no matter the skill level. Thanks Anthony for making something so awesome!

Everything you need, but still minimal … perfect.

There’s more customization available with this template than any other template that I’ve found. You can place your widgets in many areas of your pages.(header, footer, sidebar) Also you can edit the code easily. You can add a background image or colors. This is the best free template that I’ve found so far. You can really make it match whatever type of site you are aiming for.

I’m using this theme for more than a month, and I like it very much and it is very simple to customize.
