I’ve always hired someone to build websites for me, but I decided to try my hand at it for my latest website. So glad I went with this theme!!! It is super simple to use, and I can go into the stylesheet and change colors and fonts quite easily. Plus, there are tons of options offered too! Best of all, it looks great on all devices. Who could ask for more from a FREE theme??? If you are looking for a theme, you can’t go wrong with Smartline Lite!!

Smartline Lite is a perfect theme for news and magazine websites as well as simple blogs. The responsive design with bold colors and smart lines looks great on any device. The main highlight of Smartline is the flexible and widgetized front page template which allows you to create a magazine-styled homepage with ease.

    Hello,

    I’m using Smartline Lite 1.3.1 with WordPress 4.4 and it’s working great.
    I have started to use WP (4.3.1) just by beginning of November 2015 coming from an other little French CMS named SPIP.

    Smartline Lite is missing some features. I have had a look at their Pro version, but unfortunately it’s the same.

    Nevertheless, as already stated, Smartline Lite is a great Responsive Web Design theme working very well, after tests, as well on PC screens than on TV and smart phones screens. Their promises are meet!

    Easy to set up and use, a few tweaks and you can make it look pretty good. Responsiveness works fairly well. Great for a an easy-to-use, easy-to-manage organization site.

    Hi there,

    I installed the theme in the PRO version yesterday, and have had lots of fun making it have my own look and feel. I had one question about the sliders and I got a quick answer – even on a Saturday. I decidede to take away the sliders as they need additional images, and I didn’t want that in my original posts.

    I still have work to do with changing the colours, but I’m think that maybe the default blue colours are suitable for now.

    Has the clean, simple look I wanted. Easy to set up custom widgets.
    Having a little trouble with style.css changes but overall very satisfied.
