I tried some other themes but found the Church theme for our website and it works great. I am in the process of transitioning our church website to WordPress. This theme is easy to use and has lots of options that can be changed to fit your needs. I would pretty much echo what others have said about this theme. Thank you.

PLEASE SOME HELP. Header image not displaying. I get “While you can crop images to your liking after clicking Add new image, your theme recommends a header height of 0 pixels”

Theme is currently broken with no fix

There is a current issue with the Church theme that the author has not fixed.
The header image on posts is hijacked by whatever featured image is selected for that post.
Author seems to have fixed the same issue in his other child themes of Omega. But not for the church theme. Author says he issued a fix, but users who updated the theme with the claimed fix complain that the bug persists and the author has not responded in the past month.

I like the Church theme because it’s fully responsive and comes with a mobile menu, plus it’s easy to completely change the look and feel. I’ve built about 8 sites using the Church theme and my clients are happy with their websites.
I’m now using the SlickNav plug-in in place of the tinynav that comes with this theme. I like that SlickNav is fully css editable for their hamburger menu.
It would be nice to see SlickNav integrated into this theme instead of tinynav.

This is the first WP site I’ve ever developed and the Church theme helped me do it. I tried a handful of other themes until I found Church, now I could not be more satisfied with my website.
The layout and font are great. The styling is fantastic. If there’s anything you don’t like there is plenty of customization options.

We have been trying to find the right theme for (surprisingly) a church web-site. This seems to be it. Its clean, has enough customisability to do most of what we need without constant referral to the author yet is not overtly complicated. And the support website has answered most every question without I need write a post to the form. Great Job & Thank You…

I put up my site (evanswriter.com/clowns) using the CHURCH theme. Quite simply, I love it! Clean, organized, easy to use, it is a great theme. I tried out 5-6 other free themes, and all had issues of one kind or another. Not Church.
