Enigma

The Enigma theme and the customer service is very good.

Responsive and easy to navigate theme, I found it easy to use. I had questions they answered to me in a good manner of time.

Compared to others themes I would re-use the enigma theme and another theme from weblizar.

The theme is a good theme but beware of the Navigation bar it is a pain to get working. Support is no help even for the premium version they don’t give you direct answers and take along time to respond. Besides the support and once I got the navigation to finally work the theme is great and I am happy with it.

This theme does not index well with Google or the other search engines, does not provide dashboard enabled updates, has many conflicts with popular plug-ins and they will block you from posting questions and issues they are not willing to correct in their forum. Not cool.
Looks great and I very much wish it work as it should, but here we are.
They did refund my money, but that doesn’t cover an hour of the time wasted trying to get them to fix what shouldn’t even be an issue.

I was using this theme before switching to another from the same author. I personally like the work of this author. The theme is quite easy to implement with different contents. I had been using this for my personal website. The only thing I would say is use it to know it. Highly Recommended….

I wanted to display a static page as the homepage. Enigma support did a great job accompying me.

Very nice and responsive theme. The customization in the pro-version is well worth it. I’m getting a lot of compliments on how great my business website looks. I was easily able to pick up and understand what to do with about 20 minutes of tinkering (although it “frustrated” my web guy, I figured it out after he left for the day by looking at all the documentation available.)

For me your front-page looks better on large screen when bootstrap is a bit customized. “@container-large-desktop”: “(970px + @grid-gutter-width)” instead 1170px.[great on a large screen -1920×1080- when zoomed out [75%]]

After doing this, few modifications in style.css are required to keep everything well fitted.[header contact info, post date]

Going deeper into folders and coding many typing errors or careless mistakes show up. i.e. the fonts folder is missing into core\theme-options as bootstrap looks at the same level to get glyphicons. This is just for theme options, but..

Another thing is about translation, the enigma.pot which contains lite and pro version and more.. Nevertheless, doesn’t contains all strings: i.e. esc_attr_e “What do you want to find?” is missing.

Great theme in terms of look & feel, but it seems impossible to developing a child theme starting from this one…
I’ve seen a post on the support forum, where the author suggest to add “!important” at the end of every CSS rule. I don’t think this is the correct way to modify a theme.
Does anyone have a solution?

Conflict with many plugins, for example NextGEN Gallery, Responsive Gallery Grid.

This is probably one of the best WordPress themes I’ve ever used. I had an issue with the theme options not updating and only showing when admin logged in, but this may have ultimately been a caching issue because it resolved itself after about an hour. GREAT theme.
