GeneratePress

GeneratePress is probably the most flexible theme I ever worked with. Even without the (inexpensive) premium add-ons, it’s flexible enough for a lot of different projects. And the way it can be customized through the theme’s hook? A lot of documentation and support second to none. Man, I can’t believe this is a free theme. Really. And fun to work with.

I’m sure you’re having fun too, Tom Usborne, and I sincerely hope you’ll be developing GeneratePress for a long time

I am not highly technical but I do administer a couple of charity sites. This is BY FAR, THE BEST and EASIEST WP theme and set of tools to use period. I have used loads of themes and purchased some of the so-called best. Don’t hesitate to use this theme it awesome cost effective and a worth while investment.

This not your grandma’s “drag and drop” builder. It’s not a builder really. I was very quickly able to make a customized version of a site I needed to put up. I ran into my own little issues (as one typically does), but support has absolutely amazing, responsive & beyond helpful. Definitely worth the money to upgrade to Premium.

I’ve been working with this theme for a couple of weeks now to rebuild my small marketing consulting website at [Link redacted]. So far I’ve been able to do everything I needed and have used most of the plugin features included in the premium upgrade. The cost for the upgrade bundle was very reasonable so I almost immediately went for it after playing with the free base theme for a couple of hours.

I’ve also used several of Tom’s suggestions in the support forum for the more technical customizations I wanted to try.

My new site is far better than what I had just a couple of weeks ago with my prior theme, even with largely the same page/post content. GeneratePress, the premium plugin bundle, and Tom’s answers in the support channels made this possible. Tom’s Simple CSS, Lightweight Grid Columns, and Lightweight Social Icons plugins are also very useful with this theme.

Happy to give this theme 5 stars. I’m looking forward to working with it further.

Wow. I spent a lot of time searching for and testing a lot of different themes. Many looked promising, and some promised everything I was looking for. Going Premium and getting all of the add-ons is a no brainer.

I don’t have everything figured out yet but within a day I have been able to create a new home page with the features and layout I had in my head. One or two tweaks and it will be beyond what I though I’d be able to achieve (and ready for content!).

The support is incredible – really impressed to get such quick responses that solve the problems I’m having (because I have very limited technical knowledge, not because of the site).

Simple but powerful!

I’ve tried lots of different WordPress themes over many years.
GeneratePress is by far the best I’ve used.

It gives me heaps of customisation options.

After working with the free version for just a couple of hours, I quickly signed up for the GP Premium plugin.

I can easily control the placement of various elements on the page. I can control the width, the spacing, the fonts, the colours, the menus, the widgets, etc. I love it.

Im trying to use so many theme but its beautiful as it is very simple and easy to customize. My website is best rc helicopter almost complete and it looks just fine. But Im unable to make header bar menu static (fixed on top). I think is on pro version.
I am using the free version of GeneratePress. but im Very happy with the theme!e got this theme

Best multi-purpose theme ever.
Or it rather to be called a framework.

If you don’t like heavy weight commercial multi-purpose themes or frameworks, try this.
Super fast yet really flexible.
