GeneratePress

I’m using GP for 2 years and this theme still looks like the best option for me. The best features for me are:

• modular construction – you can add a lot of plugins to extend your capabilites
• super-easy configuration – you can find the needed options in like a 30 seconds
• very high level of customization – you can make any site you want

For the first time I was using GP for my department website, but after all, this theme helped me to create a lot of new different websites and landing pages.

Tom, you (and your team) are great developers, thank you a lot for the work you’ve done!

I quite honestly can’t find anything about this theme I have a problem with. Going to their website their is a good, comprehensive “Knowledgebase” as well as responsive support.

One of the issues I have with most themes is the lack of changelog. I asked about the changelog for this theme and was quickly pointed to where I could find it on their site.

I can understand why this theme is actively installed on over 30,000 sites at this time.

I’ve been using GeneratePress Premium for about five months now and love it! As a WordPress newbie, it’s exactly what I was looking for in a flexible and customizable responsive theme, which also provides ease of use and a reasonable price point. I got all of that and more!

The top-notch reviews by other users about the support provided by Tom, Lead Developer, are no exaggeration. I had a couple questions so far and he is fast to respond, patient, and provides non-judgmental help and detailed instructions. 1. GeneratePress is easy to use and so flexible.
2. The customer support/tech support is awesome. My latest question was answered within 15 minutes! Tom doesn’t always get back to me that fast, but always within a few hours.

Very good, flexible form, that acts as a blank canvas rather than trying to be overly stylish for you.

The developer is quick to respond and helpful.

NOTE – when you install the free version and then buy the full version you must upload it as a PLUGIN, not a theme!

Uploading it as a theme will give you a “missing CSS sheet” error.

Excellent theme. Even the free version has lots of customization options. With the premium add-ons I’ve got almost all I needed. For the rest, the developer is really helpful in the support forums here on wordpress.org and on his own website. Fantastic!

I made several websites with GeneratePress during the last year. I also bought the plugin add-ons which are very helpful and easy to use. Nice, clean and complete theme and you can create so many different pages you want. And Tom’s support is fast and very helpful every time I need.

I was inspired to try GeneratePress after many years of working with a flexible but outdated framework theme. Within two hours of giving GeneratePress a try I had purchased the premium version, and within half an hour of that I was absolutely flying with it. It’s that good.

What’s most impressive about GeneratePress is how lightweight and fast it is. Having gotten used to wrestling with my old bloated framework I’m still amazed by how much simpler GeneratePress is, despite having all the same functionality. In fact the first project I developed on GP was for a largely mobile-only audience in developing countries and I’m pleased to report that on a 2G data connection the site takes only 7 seconds for the first page load and 4 seconds for subsequent page loads. Yes, 2G!

The support in the GP Forums is excellent, in fact there hasn’t been a single question I’ve had that didn’t already have an answer.

I bought GP Premium a month ago and have already used it on 3 different websites! The clients were all thrilled with how they look, and they’re each unique so you can barely even tell it’s the same theme. I love how easy it is to use, and the price is great too. Definitely recommend this theme.
