This theme is the best out here. I played with a lot of themes before making my decision. If you are looking for amazing theme then go for GeneratePress!!!

Not only does WordPress make it easy to build a website, but the support/help I’ve received as a first time user, and Tech Idiot, was invaluable, clear, and easy to follow thanks to Thomas and crew. I would recommend it for all other newbies out there like me.

I also bought GP Premium addon together with the free theme. Together they are awesome.

This is best free template for WP at this moment, and probably forever is devs will keep updating it.
I bought all plugins for this template and now its so easy to customize my website.
You dont need any understanding in coding or anything else.

I settled for this theme after trying a few other similar themes. This one serves me well. The Add-ons comein handy to extend the functionality of the site. Support is also excellent!
I strongly recommend this theme.

Of all the premium themes (and free themes, for that matter), GeneratePress is by far the cleanest and friendliest I’ve ever used!

And by “friendliest,” I mean no gawd-awful delays or frustrating glitches that eat up precious hours of your (my) life…

I’m currently working with two different themes (GP on one site, and another leading theme for another), and every time I switch back to my GP project it’s like a breath of fresh air. So easy to use, and if I run into any roadblocks, I just google it – sure enough, Tom has a helpful, thorough explanation out there somewhere.

And on top of being ridiculously affordable (for which I’m grateful), the licensing agreement is INCREDIBLY GENEROUS!!

Thanks for making this awesome theme, and for providing such great response to those of us who are still in learning-mode.

I have been using GP for a while, with the $30 addons package. Using the supplied child theme, I can easily customize everything without having to touch the WP core files.

All my WP plugins play well with it and I have had no compatibility problems.

It works perfectly on any screen size, and is a true responsive theme. Because you only pay the once for the addon package, the initial cost effectively becomes less each time you use it for a new blog.

The owner, Tom, is very helpful when you get stuck, even if it is more a WP than GP problem. Highly recommend this theme.

After trying literally dozens of themes, I finally chose generate press because of aesthetics, simplicity and ease of use. I like tweaking things (a lot) so I upgraded to the pro version. Definitely worth it. I now have complete control of all aspects of my web design. I can’t imagine using any other theme. The only problem I had (me not reading the installation instructions) was handled quickly an professionally by support.

After using many commercial themes, as well as free, then getting ready to create my own, I found exactly what I would have created anyway – its called GeneratePress, and its Awesome!

It follows the KISS method, which is great for those who have something in mind and need a “canvas” to start with. The theme is very lightweight, yet powerful enough to get what you want out of it with minimal effort.

I’ve seen some 1 star reviews here; they do not belong. A simple child theme and some css jujitsu will get you on your way to customizing. If you want more, then the addons available for the theme are an excellent choice.

With the addons, the theme still stays lightweight yet you get a plethora of options available at your fingertips. For a $30 packaged deal you can’t go wrong. One could easily spend more for a cumbersome theme with options not near as easy to implement. Only $30 and the author also gives rights to use on unlimited domains. That’s very generous. I wouldn’t think twice about making the purchase for each domain.

If your serious about a theme that is going to load fast and retain flexibility in regards to customization, this is it! If you just want something that looks pretty and loads all kinds of “cool” javascript effects right out of the box, then take a walk through the “forest”, but don’t cry when a tree falls on you.

I am still testing this and that, but so far it appears to be quite a powerful system (theme + add-ons). And most important – lightning-fast. Rare combination. I must say a big thank you. Great job!
