Loss of time

Pros:
1. visually nice
2. provides some theme enhancements (sliders, widget visibility etc)
Cons:
1. support depending on the random mood of the developer (not always with a professional behavior)
2. updates not guaranteed at time, which may cause incompatibilities with the rest of your software. This theme makes heavy customization of your network and, as the developer said, a reason he cannot deliver quick updates is because it has a special structure, so he needs to rewrite many files after each Buddypress update. Which is worse is that the developer doesn’t set a deadline and honor it, but uses false promises (for ex: in two days there will be an update) and that lasts for months.
3. maybe a “one man show”. If the developer says “I could not do that, because of a health problem…”, probably there is no team behind him and you cannot trust this theme for a professional network.
I finally preferred to switch to another theme, because he started working on an update in November 2015 and, at the time I am writing these lines, he did not yet finished (more than 7 months waiting). That had begun to cause many incompatibilities.
I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS THEME. YOU CANNOT TRUST THAT DEVELOPER.

Highly customazible theme with great support

I was looking for a responsible theme, that I could fit to a specific design (I’m not a web wizzard) I found the firmasite theme to be easy customizable (portal.spd-fn.de). The developer gives reliable and fast and friendly support.
After a while I switched to premium theme from firmasite and am even more satisfied.

Favorite bootstrap theme

This quickly became my favorite framework for Bootstrap to use across websites.
It’s easy to use, but if there’s any questions or requests there’s an active support forum (where I just left a question and got a reply within an hour or 2).
I really needed something that was very lean, had some basic helpful options though for development, and looked good.

Great theme and very fast support

This theme can be easily used as a child theme (a fresh start is proposed).
Code is clean and Ünsal answered me very fast on the support forum when I had a little problem.
I highly recommend his theme !

Firmasite is the best theme I’ve found that not only has great support for Buddypress and bbPress, but is also highly customizable and has fantastic mobile support. Even though I’m only using the Free version, I still got great support from Ünsal. As the web administrator for a large, international, fan club, Firmasite gave me all the tools I needed to take my site to the next level.
If you want to leverage your bootstrap knowledge, Firmasite is the theme for you! I highly recommend it for anyone looking to build a modern responsive WordPress based website, from simple personal blogs all the way to heavily used social networks.

I saw another reviewer comment that most of these four star reviews must have been paid. Well, we can’t speak for those folks but you can know for sure that we were not paid. We are posting this review because we are extremely happy to have found the Firmasite theme! Not only is this fantastic theme responsive (looks great on our phone) but it also adds some fantastic styling options to the rather bland defaults that are standard with Buddypress. The theme’s Pro version offers even more options by integrating Woocommerce support. Additionally, anytime we have needed support for our custom configuration, Unsal quickly answered our questions in his support forum. Wish we had this type of support for some of the other key plugins and themes that we work with!
