Love this theme! It basically delivered exactly what i needed, which was an airbnb style site.
Great plugin integration; fast, courteous, knowledgeable support, plus the site looks great.
Hope their extended review plugin (planned but no date) will be released soon as my main criticism would be the limited review functionality.

Thanks for making such a wonderful directory wordpress theme with unlimited flexibility! Paid plugins are optional and it was clearly stated that on the product description. I truly believe in "you must spend money to make money" and agreed with what you discussed on the comments section. I rather invest in a flexible theme like listable than having to redo the entire site in couple years. Keep up the great work!

...The issue with picking a theme that has everything “built in” is that you are stuck with that theme and restricted to the options it affords out of the box. While on the surface you may see 500 options as a huge advantage and figure you’ll never need another theme again, this is usually not the case.
WordPress is 10 years old. The chances are very high that sometime in the next 10 years (more than likely in the next two or three) you will want to update your website. All of the sudden you’re stuck with content that is non-transferable; whether it’s through auto-generated shortcodes, custom data entered directly to the theme, or custom CSS applied to the theme options...

This theme has massive potential to create the website that I need. Having said that, I am having multiple problems which stem from poor documentation, limited instructions and support, which takes to long to respond to the queries I have.

The theme looks awesome on the demo. But most of the features in the demo require more than half a dozen premium plugins “very expensive plugins”.
Listable could have been the best theme on the internet if it wasn’t for the very poor documentation which barely skims the surface. Every help article points to a third party documentation.
Lacks essential features and options for example not being able to add a mere ‘title’ for the widgets, among several others.
Customer Support is slow and the log in to submit the ticket also has issues.
Severe lack of flexibility, requires heavy coding to customize the website to make it look your own.
Disappointed really.

All the free and premium plugins are mentioned both in the presentation page and the documentation.
Listable is at the most part, a plugin-based theme (as all the themes should be — best practice) in terms of functionality.
By compartmentalizing as much as possible, you are creating fewer headaches for yourself in the future. If you don’t need a certain aspect in your website the next time you update simply deactivate it. If you install a new theme, your Google Analytics code will still be output since it wasn’t tied directly to the theme. If a payment gateway is no longer a viable option for you simply deactivate it and install a new one. None of these would be nearly as simple if you had every aspect of your site based around and linked to your theme.
Regarding the support requests — we answer support questions every day from Monday to Friday . During this time, we strive to respond to all theme queries within 24 hours. More advanced or technical queries may take longer.
We're truly sorry to see that this misunderstanding led to a 1* rating for Listable.

Listable has been a great template - with some minor tweaks, I have turned the out of the box template into something that works well for me. I have also added the additional plug-ins suggested by the Listable crew which have super charged the template.
The support is great and would thoroughly recommend getting on their community area where a lot of questions have been asked and answered.
Great theme, I'm happy.

Beautiful theme, simple to use, and even greater support. If you're looking for an interface to your directory or searchable listing service, listable is most definitely the way to go. I tried listify and have never since turned back after discovering listable. They make it easy to use, understand, and if you still have trouble - their support team responds back in less than 24 hours with an actual response! Extremely happy with the decision and really look forward to more features, and updates to the theme from these guys. Awesome job guys - keep it up!
