This theme has a nice clean simple layout but great flexibility as far as changing title colours and link colours goes.

It is also super simple to change the colour of the font.

Without a doubt, the best blogging theme I’ve ever used / seen. If you are looking for a minimalistic theme with proper coding, you truly cannot get much better. I have it installed on: patrickcoombe.com but also use it on many other sites, without issue. The developer has the code repository on Github, which is great and he also responds to any issues with a quickness. 10/10, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up.

After, if not for long hours but in fact for days,yeah seriously , so to say, going through all the free and paid themes , googling n times, I finally found an inch perfect theme for a person like me – Independent Publisher – kind of “This is it,man ” .

This theme is AWESOME! I’m using it on my personal blog and I love it! I love that is flawlessly responsive to the size of screen I am using and it’s all around outstanding!

I spend a lot of my time with WordPress. I’ve coded my own themes (see oldmankit.com), used paid themes (e.g. Genesis), but have never until now used a free theme from the WordPress theme directory.

The Independent Publisher is a joy to use. It strips away what is unecessary, which brings your content to the fore. That doesn’t mean it’s not pretty. There are some awesome options for full-width featured images with headings overlaid, for example, which would really belong in a premium (paid) theme.

For my latest project, this theme proved itself quickly. It was easy to set-up, easy to customise, and as I said, it really brings the content to the fore.
