Parabola

Altamente customizável, com um painel todo em português, as configurações podem ser exportadas e importadas, serve pra praticamente qualquer propósito imaginável…simplesmente perfeito. E grátis!! Sem pegadinha alguma! Assim que receber meu salário faço questão de pagar pra esses caras, até mais do que eles cobram pela versão Pro (que só fui saber que existia porque alguém citou nos comentários, porque em nenhum momento fui cobrada por nada e nenhuma limitação foi imposta pra que eu fizesse o upgrade). Merecem todo apoio!

I was searching through themes for awhile. Nothing had all the features I wanted until I found Parabola. At first I settled for Parabola, thinking it was just the closest to what I wanted. Then, after playing with the settings off and on for a week, I found it has everything I wanted and more!

First I played in the customize settings you reach from the theme page. Originally I thought that was it. Then I found under Appearance a Parabola Settings and was blown away by what I could do.

One thing I can’t seem to find out how to do. The title of my posts seem to remain a dark grey. I’d love to change it to white if someone can point out how to do that?

Another thing I would love is the background of the header seems to only be able to be a color. If you look at my site, you’ll see how the background stops and its just black at the top. I would love to have my background image all the way up! Please let me know if this can be done and if it can’t, please add it.

Just wanted to give my props! This is one of the best, simplest skins to use, update and work with.

I’ll be honest, I hate looking for skins for new wordpress sites but this one is my new love. In fact everything from Cryout Creations makes my heart smile.

i like the flexibility of this theme
a few things happened, though, after the latest update.
one: mobile menu vanished. could have sworn there was one there before…
two: i have some transparent rgb color backgrounds set in the custom settings that stopped working because the theme automatically inserted #’s in front of them when i saved the settings. when i alter the presentation page, for example, it is now necessary to go back and edit the color settings to remove the #’s.
i’d probably give this theme 4 stars if i wasn’t capable of customizing the code myself. the theme options are pretty epic for people who can’t, but less so for people who can. i used them anyway.
i’d give it 5 if not for the settings snafu.

I was looking for a good theme for my Greek recipes blog
I ‘ve searched a lot of them but none it was so parameterised like parabola.
I love it.
It would be nice if the author build some good widgets too.
I recomend to all.

I’m intend to upgrade my blogspot blog platform to wordpress using this theme. My blog is about how to [link moderated] save electricity.

Finding a good wordpress theme is difficult as most of the themes are not up to date and don’t work with the last wordpress version (I think I tried about 20 themes and none compare to this one). But this one does and here is what I like:
– This theme works perfectly
– Webmarketing good practises are followed
– Highly customable, I never saw a template with so many options
– 13 color sheme availables but you can also create one and choose your font/colors.
– You can add custom html code on your front page…which is very great as you are not limited to just 3 or 4 headlines to write your argument
– Nice image slider on the front page
– Free but with only a little copyright link on the bottom. You can remove it with the pro version for $25.

Parabola is awesome. It is a beautiful layout, and if you don’t want to use one of its functionalities, you don’t have to. For example, I didn’t want to use the slider function, so I just left it blank, and- no slider!!!! Great, and flexible, and I kind of can’t believe it is free, because it is just that good. I am no computer whiz, and I got beautiful results.

Much more than I expect!!

I am satisfied by these theme, especially because easy to customize. But there is some problems, you can’t redefine front page in way to setup some right column and stuff like that, you have to use some column that are predefined.
