Tiny Forge

Having used hundreds of themes, both free and paid for, I can honest say Tiny Framework is the best general purpose theme out there. It has all the important features, everything works as it should, and it’s not loaded down with bells and whistles and other junk most people will never use. The code is very well organized, easy to understand and commented throughout. Tiny Framework is a perfect example of what theme development should be. I’d give this one more than 5 stars if I could.

Support from Tomas on small detail like line spacing and sub-heading style and size has been very positive and extremely prompt. I love it.

The Tiny Forge theme was the best theme that worked for my needs. It has a larger header than a lot of themes that is fully customizable. The text is a larger column and there is a right side menu…exactly what I wanted my blog to look like. I had some problems with understanding the comments and how to format my posts so the comments could be left, but Tomas was very quick to respond to my question, and more than willing to help me with my problem. That’s what put the icing on the cake for me on this theme was that I can get help easily since I’m new to WordPress. Thanks Tomas!

I’ve been using Tiny Forge for about 4 months now. I use a child theme for the customizations though there aren’t many. I wanted a theme that afforded me a good starting point without a lot of overhead. I wanted some control (fonts, colors, header images) but I didn’t want the kitchen sink.

Wonderfully easy to work with and the few times I’ve asked for help here, Tomas has been quick to reply.

I’m new to WordPress and have been really impressed by this theme. It’s beautifully designed, is pretty intuitive (even for beginners) and has great forum support.

However, If I use Front Page Template, I see the featured image appearing twice, once on the top has a header and one as part of the page just like in 2012 theme. I know how to fix this by modifying a php file in child theme, but I would like to know if I have missed any setting or is this a bug in the theme.

I appreciate developers of this theme for their clever/hard work.

I was looking for a theme which combined the best features of Twenty Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen — and this is it! Outstanding!

I love this theme and the flexibility it allows. Looks great no matter what device, and the support is incredible. I normally strip the credits out of WordPress themes, but I actually went and added the credits to Tiny Forge back in as a small way to say thank you to the developer.
