Love this theme!
By positivelysue, 2017-07-10
via wordpress.org
This is the most truly flexible theme I’ve encountered in at least 5 years of WordPress design. It’s got everything you could possibly want for free, and the paid extension just puts icing on the cake and sauce for the goose! Great support forum, too.
Specifics: multiple formats for pages, the ability to customize the header in at least 5 different ways that I’ve found (possibly more), per-post customizations, CSS magic, sliders that are easy to work with.
Just go download it and start playing. I’m nearly sure that you will need to get rid of some plugins you’re using because Weaver already has them built in.

The ONLY Free Customizable Theme & No Glitches in Page Editor
By monkeywisdom, 2017-03-23
via wordpress.org
I loved Weaver II Pro and I’m blown away by Xtreme. Don’t believe the fakers who say they have a free customizable theme. Weaver is the most versatile, and the interface is easy to use. No coding is required at all. It’s also the only theme that doesn’t screw up your pages when you switch to “text” editor and back. I’ve never experienced a glitch when creating pages. If you need even more functions or you want to support a great cause, get PRO. I’ll be getting it soon. Read the guide on the Weaver Xtreme website.

I do not write reviews often
By tb2k82ce, 2017-02-09
via wordpress.org
If you are good at HTML understand CSS and just plain good at coding. Then this may not be for you. I cannot do any of that so I’m not sure if it would make a difference.
If you cannot do any of that or are limited in what you can do then this is a awesome theme. I also purchased the Xtreme Plus plug-in as it does add things I wanted to do maybe. But if I do not then that is ok also as I do not have an issue with supporting a good product.
Why do I like it so much. It is not as easy to use as they would like you to believe just because it allows you to do so much. The basic are easy where as some of the other things I have trouble with. But I have developed a Parallax page different backgrounds for different pages. All of this I would not have been able to do.
Support is good it most likely would be considered great if I knew more about WordPress but from my lowly knowledge level simple things become complex. I’m still able to do some interesting things.
I think people that do not like this program either are good at WordPress or get confused about all of the CSS changes that you can make just by checking boxes and making other selections. Give it a try I think most will like it. If you are really bad at coding also try Thrive Content Builder. That is worth the money also.

Top Kudos to Bruce for the WP Weaver Xtreme Theme!
By AshokanKid, 2016-12-25
via wordpress.org
First off, I’ve been using Weaver since before Weaver II and Xtreme and always found this theme to be what I need, want, desire and NO more (not too many frills that are not needed!).
For the non-techie, you’ve got what you need to accomplish a LOT, without getting bogged down in too much extra coding / modifying. There is a lot here to work with, right out of the box.
If you do not find what you need here, there are a ton of helpful forum posts and users out there who can and will assist with accomplishing what you need or want if it is not evident.
The one thing that I will add (and this is not just Weaver) is that one of the very FIRST things that I do is to REMOVE the ridiculously contrived, BS, slow, stoopid WP “Customizer”.
This was / is some WP developers Dream Child that on the surface may seem like a great idea for the noob / Dummy, but in reality, for MOST themes, is simply an added layer of complexity!
Might be nice if Bruce (or WP for goodness sake!) would create a switch / check box to turn this travesty OFF for those of us who find it obtrusive and dumbing down for most purposes.
So, then, my very first plug-in is the mighty fine Customizer Remove All Parts plug-in (and then right after that, WP All-in-One Security to alter the blog / site default log-in page AND change another ridiculous convention, the default admin user name, which IMMEDIATELY shows up for ALL of the world to see on the sample blog post the moment you install WP! WTF… ).

Love & big ups to Bruce for this awesome theme and all the work that he has and is doing on Weaver Xtreme! Thanks . . .

Terrific Theme! Outstanding support
By Jetra, 2016-10-01

Weaver Extreme is an excellent customizing theme, in my opinion. Also, the support is exceptional. I have used Extreme and earlier versions of Weaver themes for years now. I’ve used both the free and pro or plus versions. All are good.
While I try out and use other customizable themes, I keep coming back to Weaver. I especially like that the Weaver team keeps up with technical changes in WordPress and web browsers. Support normally answers my questions quickly and effectively. When I have found technical glitches in the Weaver theme and report them, the development group led by Bruce Wampler quickly address the problem.
So, all in all, I highly recommend this theme. I am someone who rarely writes reviews. Last week I changed from a paid for only (premium), well known theme, to Weaver because the paid-only theme had not kept up with the change to php 7. No such problems with Weaver Xtreme.

I am impressed with the community of support that is involved in this theme,
there are so many little tweeks that can be made and the community forum helps guide the user through,
however, it must be noted *** this is not a theme for a novice blogger ***

Weaver Xtreme not ready for release
By FNGeditor, 2016-04-27
via wordpress.org
I have been using the Weaver products for 4 years now. I have purchased the license to install the pro versions on my customers sites and have developed dozens of sites using Weaver.
This product is not worth installing the free version, let alone purchasing the premium version. Stay away from it until and unless you see a lot of good reviews newer than this one.
Bruce Wampler really missed the target with Weaver Xtreme. From the initial install, the primary widget area does not respond properly and dissects the content in to two misaligned contents and/or displays oddly when the page is re sized. You cannot easily navigate the options, and generally, the theme simply does not work well.
Keep using the old versions of Weaver, or check out some of the other options, but before you buy the paid version, try the free one and display it on various screens. If it acts odd there, just think of the problems your site visitors are going to have.
Three thumbs down on this version.
UPDATE: I spent more time checking out this theme since Bruce has abandoned his previous well respected theme to just see if I was missing something. I am more confused than ever after seeing some 5 star reviews here. When I enable any full-width sub theme, the primary widget display corrupts, sometimes just breaking up, sometimes throwing the content into the page area. If you try to edit the widgets through the customizer, the items do not display unless you add another widget, then delete or modify the existing ones, then save, then go back and delete the one you add, then go back and delete the one you added again.
This kind of behavior should be a real red flag to any developer. I have always respected the input from Scrambler, but really can’t see how something this buggy was ever allowed to hit the WordPress download section.

Can do everything you might want with this theme
By LRodger, 2016-03-25
via wordpress.org
I built all (two) WordPress sites using Weaver II and loved its versatility (and am about to switch over another three). Held off switching to Weaver Xtreme for too long. It’s even more awesome than its predecessor! I’ve mostly retired, so one criterion was having a site that a reasonably computer savvy person could take over without needing to understand code. This provides lots of choices and immediate feedback on what they do. The Customizer is good for most, but I still prefer going through your various pages because they include a few more tweaks. BTW I just mentored another person in setting up her first website using Weaver Xtreme. She’s delighted with its possibilities.

If Not For the Instructions
By mythusmage, 2015-12-11
via wordpress.org
Overall I rather like Weaver Xtreme 2.0; however, the instructions I find confusing. Part of that has to do with my inexperience, part of it with how things are organized an explained. Fortunately they are not so obtuse there is no way to learn them.
That aside the theme has a ton of features that are fun to play with, and the current version of the customizer; as modified by WPWeaver; is useful, fun to work with, and looks nice. The addition of the drop-down menu is a nice touch, and being able to choose between what you’re looking for and where it is is a lot of help. I can think of a number of theme developers; especially Cryout Creation and the folks behind Atahaulpa; who could really use what WPWeaver has done here.
The fact I can put my posts and pages into columns is a plus. The fact I can’t do the same for wikis is a minus. Next update maybe?
I’d rather use “px” for sizing my text, but I can live with descriptions.
The option to mess with the initial letter in a paragraph/post/section/header/etc. would be nice. Another project for a future update.
All in all I have to say thank you to the designer/author/developer. He put a lot of work into Weaver Xtreme 2.0 and it shows. Heck, I may even upgrade to Weaver Extreme Plus 2.0, but that’s going to have to wait a few months until I have the money.

The all in one for me!
By YogieAnamCara, 2015-11-04

There are many nice looking themes around, but all do have their limit. Up to now I could build any layout similar to those I’ve seen using just one theme and that’s the one you just read this review about. Weaver Xtreme is the most versatile theme that I ever have seen. And if there is something that you want to do with your layout Weaver Xtreme is probably giving you the chance to do it. It builds your mobile theme right from the desktop one. Ever wanted to have multi column sidebars? Have a look at Weaver Xtreme with Weaver Xtreme you can do it! Stop searching start using
