Minamaze

I’ve worked with this theme for sometime and it’s really one of the best I’ve used. Awesome customization and generally all round great features. Proud to be associated with this theme!

I have used many free themes on wordpress.org but Minamaze is as great as any good premium theme. Heads up for the coding which is a treat for developers to do manual customizations. Keep up the good work!

What you see on the demo is what your site will look like. There’s no customization at all. For example, I wanted a static image instead of a slider on the front page and that turned out to be impossible.

Also, every time you update something, it will either not update on your website or it will lose something else.

Extremely poor.

Updated to latest version of this theme and lost content. No answer in forum.

I only give 2 stars for now because theme is not fully translatable, there are several warnings and issues when using Theme Check plugin and last but not least, there’s no response regarding my support topics, listed here and here.

Ive been using this theme, that was highly customiseable and reasonably easy to use, its fluid and functional and has been really secure and well made.

I did have an issue with it that was caused by a clash between my host, wordpress and this theme, but even though i didnt have the premium version, they still let me chat with a DEVELOPER (!!) and we quickly went through it and resolved it. Was extremely good and the guy really knew his stuff and was from the UK and helpful and everything.

Love the theme but spent 4 hours trying to correct HTTP error notices when uploading images. Caught on that it was the theme Minamaze that was the cause as I could change it and all was well again. Spent another almost 3 hours following everything I could find on “minimaze http error” to find that making some changes improved the image upload but I would still average 1 image to fail out of 5 in testing all the modifications.

Out of the tens of thousands of themes available online I can’t spend another hour trying to fix this one. If you don’t get this error then great! If you do just find another theme to fall in love with.

This very versatile theme allows for a great deal of customization, most of it can even be done within messing with the .php files… unfortunately, homepage.pho does need to be edited to change button text on the slider.

Most everything else is easily customized. It is a clean looking theme that allows your logo to really stand out.

I have a client using a static front page and for my site I have my blog updates. Both ways work great and look good.

I was having some issues with the free Minamaze theme and after contacting Think Up Themes, Afzaal from the support team was so very helpful and fixed my problems with ease! I had difficulties with customising my home page which was due to a plugin. Even though I had tried to disable all the plugins as I have read this can cause errors, I possibly hadn’t waited long enough to for it to reset.

I am having a few issues with minamaze (free). Every time I change the content in “Homepage (Content)”, the changes are never made and it simply reverts to the default text every time. Along with this, the images displayed in the backend are not the ones being displayed on my site. Having tried to research how to fix this, it sounds as though I am having the same issue as a lot of other people as a result of the latest update. Has anyone solved this problem?

As a follow up – I’m happy to report that I asked for support from ThinkupThemes and was given assistance to solve my problem. It ended up being a problem with an extension to Internet Explorer, so a change to Chrome solved the issue. It was not a problem with Minamaze.
