This theme is loaded with features, and the price really, really reasonable.
For those who don’t know html and css to customize the free version, the paid one is really affordable. I don’t think you can find cheaper with so many features.
And for those who know html and css, it’s easy to customize even more, but you can do a lot with the free customization section.
I just know the basics of these languages, and I’ve been able to do the customization I wanted. The forum is active so there’s a good chance you find the solution to your problem in there.
There’s an attention to details you hardly find anywhere, like transparency, shadows…
The design they chose for the presentation of the theme doesn’t reflect what you can achieve with it. The last year design was more attractive.
I recently had a problem with it, but it was my mistake. Otherwise, after one year usage, no problem. I strongly advise it.

Love the theme and the options but Customize is a bit glitchy – for instance I changed the header image from center center to left center and it is not changing. I worked on a variety of edits to the header to see which image would work and hours later it seems some of the customize edits i made were suddenly implemented, changing a lot of my edits. Would love to use this theme but worried about these glitches.

This is the best theme I ever tried. Thanks for the developer for providing complete package a newbie would expect.

too much “These options are only available with the evolve+ Premium version.” you should call this a “version to make some tests” not a free version

Has everything I usually want in a free theme and has many optional configurations to vary the look & feel. Being free I do not expect or need support so it suits my needs. One of my favourites!

While the theme itself is quite workable – a number of quirks but works reasonably well as a child theme – the biggest drawback is the author support.

I’ve found that the theme authors demonstrate a very poor attitude toward customer service, apparently taking any comment as a direct challenge, and generally being obtuse and unhelpful unless the issue turns out to be user error. (ie, something they can blame the user for instead of themselves…)

That attitude alone would make me very wary of buying the paid version of the theme, if that’s an example of how they treat clients in general. #unprofessional

As to the theme itself – it is pretty good right out of the box, with easily customized features via the options panel. And custom CSS allows for easily extended tailoring beyond that.

The theme works well as a parent for child themes, and allows proper overriding of parent theme files.

The one issue I’ve found though, is with theme updates – there seems to be very little regard for backward compatibility of one version to a previous. Theme settings get lost outright and/or overridden CSS changes completely, requiring a fair amount of reworking to restore a site’s appearance after an update.

I do like the theme – but absolutely hate the support… so while I would have liked to give it 4.5 out of 5, it gets a generous 3.

I have used the theme evolve to 1 year in a personal project, however, after last update theme, logo no longer appears in the header.
