Onetone One Page Theme

There’s a lot about this theme that I like, but there are a couple HUGE problems:

• Tech support is non-existent. There’s a forum, but it’s impossible to search prior posts to see if your problem has been solved before. I have support posts that are now more than a month old and have not been responded to at all. Additionally, the email alert for post updates doesn’t work. I purchased the premium version, thinking that better support would be available, but it’s not. I’ve also written to the publisher on a couple occasions, seeking support, and had no response at all. Really, really disappointing.
• When using the one-page version, the homepage slider appears terrible on smart phones. The home page image and type resizes to fit the browser width. Although there’s a setting in the admin to fill the home page height, it doesn’t work. I contacted MageeWP support and haven’t heard from them since.

If they were reasonable about support, this theme would be a rock star. I waited a couple weeks while my support posts and email grew old before posting this review, hoping they would eventually respond but they haven’t. If anyone from MageeWP reads this and responds, I’ll gladly update this review.

i love this theme! easy to modify!

Looks great but has lots of irritating issues, and developer support and response to user requests is minimal.

I’ve had to make lots of code changes (CSS, PHP and JavaScript) to this theme to make it work acceptably.

At this stage I wouldn’t recommend this theme for any commercial operation.

The theme won’t save changed options, if you’re using the latest version of WP. Apparently it still works with older WP versions, and the developers are trying to fix the Save issue, but no joy since mid-2016 when users started having Save issues.

I recommend this theme. Demo version is OK

There is no support even for the paid for version. I have sent e-mails and posted in their forum. In fact if you go look in their forum you will find some irate customers. I’ll probably have to pay someone to fix the problems with my theme after paying for the theme. What’s bad this is the second time I have been hosed after paying for a theme on support. I know they are there because the free version gets updated from time to time even though I don’t use it.

Purchased Pro Still No Support. What a waste of money. Looks great if you just want out of the box performance. Don’t do what I did and waste your money on a Pro version. there No support.

After searching so long for a free theme that could help me create better websites at low cost i finally found onetone and stopped searching. I’m so gonna buy premium soon! Easy, beautiful and reliable. Great job magee!
