Mehhh…

I’m no expert but here’s my 2cents worth.
It could use an overhaul imho and better options (i.e menu). The support… It’s always nice when authors chime in on their themes WordPress support section to answer all questions. It brings trust and a sense of reliability to the table.

Just installed. Have not customized yet. But I love the fact that all the video and images are there as placeholders instead of having to download a different file and install.

Still has issues that have not been dealt with
By bloohair, 2015-01-13

I first used this theme a couple of years ago and got the Pro version. I posted a review then and gave it four stars. I have used the free version again for a client as I did not think purchasing the Pro version was worth it.
The theme itself is good and easy to use – but there are some simple WordPress features that do not work! My biggest problem is the site tagline – it should appear somewhere on the browser window (top for Safari, bottom for Chrome), it does not and I’m not sure if it has a bearing on SEO. I really don’t like to see my client’s site called ‘Blog’ – this is crap and needs sorting asap.
My other big issue is with lack of support on the Forum. There are many, many posts on there that they have not endeavoured to answer.
I’m seriously thinking about changing theme for my client, but since I charged very little for this as I was supposedly using a theme as is, I am well over time on the project.
I’m not happy with this, and neither is my client!

Very nice, but there are issues
By bloohair, 2014-12-25

Currently building one of my own sites with this theme.
OK, it is good, BUT, on browser manipulation the elements do not reflow back to their original position for desktop view. This happens on Safari and Chrome on Mac, FF seems to be OK. Menu disappeared when resizing browser in Chrome.
Easy to use and manipulate if you know how to use html code.
Child Theme elements not working – cannot change the section-banner h1 to a different font so I have changed this in the parent theme.
Pity that there isn’t a max width for content as on wide screens the distance between logo on left and last menu item is too far. 100% width at all stages makes the site appear ‘wrong’ for large screens. (mine is 2650px)
Video drives me nuts – first thing to get rid of.

Theme has potential but support is horrible
By cjcjcjcj, 2014-10-25

Read the STATS tab on wordpress: 4 of 27 support threads in the last two months have been resolved.
http://wordpress.org/themes/onetone/stats/
That is horrible support. How anyone rates this five stars is puzzling. If you do post a support question, they rarely answer the question. When they do respond, their answers are vague and rarely helpful. They do not recognize great enhancement suggestions or see how someone’s issue needs both an immediate workaround and a permanent longer term fix.
Too bad because this theme has a lot of potential.

All the Hype just to get NOTHING, but frustration.

The Demo is amazing however, the theme breaks with each update. A rule of thumb is that always install the free version of any theme that offers a Pro version, if it works like the developers say, and support at least responds to bug issues then pay for the pro version. DO NOT PAY FOR THE PRO VERSION for this theme or any other by this developer. They cannot possibly stand behind the product if they will not at least respond to issues that are obviously associated with the development of the theme. The Video feature which is what grabbed my attention stopped working after the first update, which means after a week or so of closing my site waiting for support; like so many others, I had to switch themes. Decided to try the theme again with another site; still impressed with the Demo. After several WP updates and just as many theme updates I had hoped that the developers worked through the issues. Once again, after the first update, no working video and no support. Don’t waste your time and certainly do not waste your money buying the Pro Version.

Theme is almost great but support is not like others
By gchanmako, 2014-08-25

This theme is great and I do like it, but the support from the developer is not like other free themes. There are a lot of questions still unanswered some over a month old. A little more support would go along way to encourage others and myself to purchase paid themes from you.

Dropdown menus are missing
By audifanatic, 2014-05-25

Without dropdown menus, one-page sites can easily become sloppy. This is a necessity which this theme lacks
